Arabella grew up in a close family. They always supported each other, no questions asked. People were often envious of them. But Arabella had always been closer to her father, whereas her sister, Amelia, preferred their mother. There was never a problem growing up. Arabella always did well in school and took on board multiple extra-curricular activities. Her favourite was always languages. That was until her father left unexpectedly. Arabella didnāt understand. Her parents had the sort of love that people would only dream about. Why would he leave her mother like that? Why would he leave herĀ like that? Her mother told her that something people just grow apart, but she didnāt believe her. Amelia later accidentally dropped the bombshell that her father had cheated. At first Arabella blamed her father. But as she grew up, that blame shifted to her mother. How could she have let this happen? The anger grew in Bella, like a festering wound. She hated her mother and would spend as much time as possible with her father; often begging him to take her with him. This caused a rift between her and Amelia. And the twins started growing apart.
When Arabella left for college she was hardly on speaking terms with Amelia or her mother. Her father bought her an apartment close to campus (Amelia had scoffed and rolled her eyes), and she moved in as soon as she graduated. Arabella floated around College, unsure about where to go to. She gravitated towards modelling for a while, but found that it didnāt give her any joy. Then her father got remarried and enlisted her help planning the event. Arabella found that she had a knack for event planning. So she studied event management and soon raced to the top of her class. The only other person who posed any sort of threat to her academically was Heather Farrow. At first Arabella couldnāt stand Heather, but after some friendly (and not so friendly) competition, the two became fast friends. Heather seemed to understand her in ways that no one else ever could. The two graduated from College together and started an event management business in Pangaea..
They soon raced to the top of the ladder. The two were an unstoppable force. And while at a conference in England, Arabella met, who she thought was, the love of her life, Hector Carson. Bella had had flings before but with Hector it was different. She cared for him in a way that she didnāt think possible. And although people often scoffed at the two together, Bella didnāt care because she could see the beauty underneath. It was a whirlwind romance and when Hector proposed, she couldnāt do anything but say yes. She had finally achieved the dream that she had been working towards all her life.
But then her father died, throwing Arabella into a dark abyss that she wouldnāt climb out of no matter how hard she tried. Heather and Hector tried to help her, but she pushed them away and retreated into herself. And then one day, Arabella disappeared. No one knew anything except for some brief texts, but those were few and far in between. After a year and a half she came back to Pangaea, but something was off about her. She had a wall in her eyes that no one could get passed. She broke off the engagement with Hector, but continued running her business. She threw herself into work, refusing to talk about the year and a half she went missing for.
Arabella is as sweet as they come. Sheās dedicated to her work and her pets. She will go above and beyond for her family and close friends. She does let emotions get the better of her sometimes, but most of the time each step she takes is calculated and well thought through. Sheās a powerful friend but a chilling enemy. Prey that youāre never on her bad side.
