New Renovation Project in Predesign …[Inserts Programmatic Elements into the Structure]… Yes, this is an insertion of individual projects… Or maybe it isn’t. . #interiordesign #architecture #schematicdesign #predesign #instagood #photography #architecturalsketch #designsketch https://www.instagram.com/p/ClrgLc7yzy7/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I recorded the entire schematic design portion of this project. Now to get passed my tendency to cringe at myself so I can watch or skim it and see if there are any parts worth extracting😅 #TwitchHouse https://www.instagram.com/p/CkQjTenLENQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
The Norfolk Scope Arena, designed by Nervi, broke ground in 1968 and was opened in '71. I hear there was a lot of backlash by locals during construction but a lot of praise afterwards. I really dig how it appears to gently touch the ground like an alien spacecraft that just landed👾 #NorfolkScope #NorfolkScopeArena #PierLuigiNervi #NorfolkVirginia #architecturegram (at Norfolk, Virginia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CjoHftZvadA/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I ordered these 3D prints from @sculpteo and they came out super smooth! I uploaded the OBJ files Nov 2021 and got the prints delivered Dec 2021, but just got around to unboxing them last month. #3dprint #NotAnAd #designgram #architecturegram #latergram https://www.instagram.com/p/ChsTE-DpD4o/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
There’s a process that’s carried out by humasns that starts with a client or a property owner who brings on an architect or designer who draws a bunch of lines then one of them brings on an engineer who does a bunch of calcs. Then, documents get submitted to an authority having jurisdiction that then end up with a general contractor who gets the thing built. This process (that I made far too simple and left too much out of for the sake of time) leads to a large part of the built environment. It’s a pretty astonishing thing humans do. We end up making spaces we can inhabit with electricity on tap, and plumbing, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. I discovered too recently that it’s insanely beneficial to occupy spaces with plants, rocks, and soil that haven’t had this assembly line there to manufacture an environment that’s catered specifically to the human. 🌍 🌎 🌏 https://www.instagram.com/p/Chp8BP5P0O-/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

These drawings are by Antonio Sant’Elia. He died in 1916, when he was 28, but his work lived on to influence many in the design world. He joined the Italian army during World War I and was killed in battle. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cgpzo60PiRv/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Yamcha was drawn with his cross-shaped scar in 1988, before Rurouni Kenshin (1994) even came out. But in ‘99, ‘Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal’ did something Dragon Ball never did. It gave us the story behind the scars… https://www.instagram.com/p/CgaTpQtPffF/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
