BJ Fogg and the Stanford Persuasive Tech Lab share a methodology for achieving behavior change: the Fogg Behavior Model (FBM) and Fogg Behavior Grid (FBG)
The model shows us when people are most open to nudges, be they treats or tools to support behavior change.
If something is easy to do, a small incentive can tip them over. If something is challenging to do, a new tool can unlock the desired change.
