What if Donald Trump’s election was just a distraction?

I know a lot of Americans are creeped out by the Trump presidency.  We have questions about how this could have happened. We see how it is affecting our daily lives, and worse, how it is going to affect the future of our country.  At least, for now, we have some controls with our system of checks and balances and even impeachment.

While so many are focused on this “President” I had one of my many random thoughts.

What if…Donald Trump was nothing more than a distraction?  With his name, money, and enormous ego (and maybe a little bit of help rigging the election), it probably wasn’t hard to convince him that he could buy this presidency.

What if…the real candidate was Mike Pence? All he would have to do is ride out the initial storm, and probable impeachment and then he would be president.

I think we should pay a little less attention to Trump (Americans and the World already know where this is going).  We might be better off focusing some attention towards our next (or actually our elected by proxy) president, Mike Pence.

What if Tiger Woods' car damage was an accident that went uninvestigated?

This is what I’ve learned from the news about Tiger Woods.

His breathalyzer test was zero, he was found to be asleep in his damaged car on a highway, he had not taken any illegal drugs, he had taken prescription drugs due to a recent back surgery, his car was impounded, and he was released on his own recognizance the next day.

What I want to know is how his car was damaged, since there was no evidence of a wreck at the scene where he was arrested.  I also want to know if the police made any effort to test the car and find out when and where the damage occurred.

What if…he was on the meds and hit something, or someone, and fled the scene ending up on that highway because his car would not go further?

What if…he was careless and hit something or someone and got away as far as the flat tires could take him, then he took meds to appear confused and unaware of how the car was damaged?

Even if all he hit was a trash can or curb, there should be at least some investigation into where and how that car was damaged.

What if kids with schizophrenia are really seeing ghosts?

I just watched 20/20 about three girls diagnosed with schizophrenia.  They all claim to hear voices and see people and creatures.  Doctors treat them with psychotherapy, mega amounts of drugs, and institutionalization. Not once did anyone mention the possibility of these girls actually seeing, speaking, and being influenced by ghosts.  What if they are experiencing paranormal activity and no one believes them?  There is a home movie of one of the girls, as an infant, totally distracted with something on the ceiling, and no one even considers the possibility of a paranormal connection.  I know doctors are hesitant to try anything out of their expertise, but when they are unable to solve a problem they should be willing to let others try.  I will be contacting UCLA where the girls are being treated.  Maybe if they hear from enough people about this, they will be forced to try, or at least consider, new treatment.  If you are interested in the paranormal, watch this episode of 20/20 and see if you agree that these girls may actually be seeing spirits.

What if scientific racial identification of skulls is sometimes incorrect?

Recently, due to the nature of certain crimes, reports have come out stating how easy it is to identify the ethnicity of a victim by visually examining the skull.  Sure, they can make a strong case as a result of years of studying human skulls. But, my random thinking makes me wonder if those standards of identification still hold true.  What would the skull of a mixed race person look like?  Would there be signs of mixed characteristics or would the skull retain the characteristics of one race or the other?

Please don’t assume that there is any racial bias on my part.  I’m a little bit black, brown, red, and white myself.  I’m just curious as to how I (or someone like me) would be categorized. Or, if there would be changes that could be detected and identified in a skull with little or no DNA available.

Can we be sure that the skulls identified as different points in our evolution aren’t just changes that occurred as a result of racial mixing?

What if mortgage insurance could benefit the borrower?

Most of us that have a mortgage pay a monthly insurance called PMI. I kind of get it that the bank needs this to insure that the loan will be paid off if the borrower defaults on that loan.  But… what if I am a borrower, paying off the mortgage consistently, and I die.  Isn’t it true that the bank will

a) collect from the PMI insurance that I was paying for,

b) collect from the government on my FHA government insured loan,

c) keep my house and the resale profits, and

d) ask for bail-out money from the government because, statistically, they have another home that was not paid in full by the borrower?

What if, instead, I pay for the PMI insurance like I’m doing now, and if I die, the insurance pays the bank and my family keeps the house?

What if we are the haunters?

I know that there is the belief that some ghosts are unaware that they have died.  But, has anyone ever considered the possibility that when we say we are being haunted it is just a ghost going through his or her regular routine, unaware of their passing?  Things like the door slamming, the lights and appliances turning on and off, chairs rocking, objects being moved, and “someone” sitting on a sofa or lying in bed, may just be those people going about their business, causing unintentional hauntings for the living.  Or if you don’t like this explanation, how about maybe we are the ones that are invading their alive time and space, unaware we are traveling in time or to other dimensions and we are really the ones haunting them?
