I’m aj (he/him, 30+) and this is an indie rp blog for various horror characters.
18+ only, crossover and oc friendly. I follow most people back, but I will block for bigotry, drama, harassment, etc.
Because some of these muse are horror-based, there will be dark and heavy themes. I tag content with “csw [warning]”. If I’m not tagging something you’d like tagged, feel free to contact me. If it’s more comfortable for you, you may message me anonymously and I will not post it; I will just tag what needs to be tagged.
I don’t need many warnings, but if there’s something you know that I don’t want to see, the tag to use is “aj don’t look”.

to be more clear, my problem is the way race is handled on the show yet again and that was why i was cautious about even watching tvl, so....
as for if i will come back here... i don't know. i want to, but knowing i'd have to be au from the show (and i'm not going by the books either) it's a little challenging. i'm staring at my muselist and thinking...
updated my muselist. will see if i can manage to write anything today. i might move armand here (not 100% sure yet), but i will keep louis separate due to circumstances.

Sure, he's had enough practice with failure, to be sure. His mind is always flitting around too fast and too distracted for good sense to keep up. If the world were just, he wouldn't have survived it as long as he has.
But failure never bothered him so much as it does when he's letting other people down. "How about you'll be the one to convince Kaz of that. Tell me how it goes."

Kurt stubbornly put a pillow over his head to block out light and sound. Sound in this case being the ever gravelly voice of his grumpy teammate.
"I can't make you do anything, friend," Kurt said, although his own voice was muffled. He lifted his pillow just enough to glare blearily. "Has it become illegal to get any rest? Am I to be tortured with sleepiness?"

Sheppard can't help but smirk, because it's the kind of sentence that would piss him off if anyone else said it to him. The impulse is to shrug, roll his eyes, find an exit, maybe mutter a sarcastic yes, sir on the way out. Not too long ago, that is the reaction she would have gotten too.

The point is, he's gotten a lot of lectures on duty and responsibility, and he it was always from people who didn't give two shits about duty or responsibility if it didn't benefit them.
That's not Dr. Weir, though. "I've got nothing against want or should, but some balance doesn't hurt. Even..." He glances around at Atlantis--with the added implication of everything outside as well. "Under the circumstances."
