the last episode genuinely has my heart. like OH MY LORD character development HELLOOO??? kaneki finally began to realise that it's okay to care for yourself first and think about others afterwards. it's okay for the undeserving to get hurt if it's for a good cause. I'm so happy for him. Rize helped him realise that he needs to embrace who he is - a ghoul. He can't keep living on the border between human and ghoul. it's not sustainable.

I LOVE THE HAIR COLOUR CHANGE. I'm gonna have to look into that a little more, but SO FAR SO GOOD!!

I loved the fight scene with jason (thank god he's gone), and I love how he decided to fight for those who he cared about.

I'm gonna read the manga now bc even in season 1, it seemed like they were just making it up on the spot for the most part 😭
