Okay hear me out: an AU where when Halligan gets captured at the manor by the Circle, Melanie chooses to go to Scotland Yard to seek help (instead of going after Halligan on her own).

Lowry angrily demands that Melanie take him to Halligan so that he can retrieve his precious stolen scissors - and then they both go on to rescue Halligan at the manor.

Lowry potentially softens a bit at this point, then permanently joins the duo for the rest of the story.

Here's the link to a Steam discussion where Steam user "cyanic" debugged an annoying crash in Steam MOTD. You put new, correctly processed data files onto the "UPDATE" folder in Druids to fix an issue and make sure the game doesn't crash when taking or giving objects (Such as giving Chris the grass or Melanie the bone). In case something happens to the thread, here's the link to the folder you have to download. Place the contents in the "UPDATES" folder and you're golden.
