MHA CHAPTER 430 SPOILERS

It's over.

My Hero Academia has concluded its decade-long run. I am in shambles.

This story has always had a special place in my heart. I literally GREW UP with these characters. I do not care what anyone else says about this ending. It was perfect to me.

I may be uncontrollably sobbing on my beanbag as I write this, but I am happy. I'm so fucking happy that this is the ending we got. I could not have asked for a better one.

The way that Midoriya became a teacher at UA to help teach the next generations of heroes is so bittersweet and so perfect.

The way that kids were talking about Midoriya, Bakugou, and Todoroki in the dame sentences as All Might and Endeavor will forever make me so fucking proud of them!

The way Midoriya tells a little middle school boy he can become a hero in front of the All Might Statue is something I will never have the proper words for.

And let's never forget how for 8 WHOLE YEARS Bakugou and the rest of Class A (Mostly Bakugou) funded the making of Midoriya's support gear without him knowing, just so he can become a hero again.

It's perfect. Everything is so fucking perfect.

And to Horikoshi Kohei, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful story. Thank you so much for making such amazing characters. And thank you so so much for everything you and your team have put into this world that I love so dearly.

And as a final goodbye to my favorite manga ever, let's end this rant with a saying from my favorite heroes!

I love that one of my coping mechanisms is just reading gay fanfic and looking at gay fanart.

For example:

My Brain: "Oh, you just watched the most heart renching YouTube short there was about an abandoned cat who was thrown in the trash?"

Me (still crying): "Yes."

My Brain: "Look up TodoDeku on Tumblr."

Me: . . .

My Brain: . . .

Me: "Wha-"

My Brain: "You heard me."

The My Hero Academia manga is ending, and I don't know how to deal with it . . .

Nothing can hurt my heart more than when a show, book, manga, or any other form of media comes to it inevitable end. It's the kind of heartbreak that makes you realize just how much you love something, and you're not ready to let go just yet.

I've been in a multitude of fandoms where the media we all collectively loved ended. I've felt this pain before, but it doesn't make it easier to deal with. It doesn't make it easier when I know that one day, the fandom will disperse. That one day, there will be no one writing new fanfictions. That one day, I'll be left alone with memories of a fandom long gone. And that one day, I'll move on, just like everyone else.

I've literally grown up with these characters. I've seen them in their darkest hours. I've seen then grow into amazing people. But realizing that I may never get to see more of them in the future really hurts tbh. I've grown attached, obviously.

But it'll hurt even more when the anime comes to a close. Because then, it's all officially over.

No more My Hero Academia.

No more Midoriya Izuku.

No more Bakugou Katsuki.

No more class 1-A.

We may get a spinoff, or maybe we won't. Who knows. I just hope that the fandom will continue to thrive for a while longer after the show ends. That's the one thing I can hope for.

I'm getting ready to watch the first episode in season 7 of My Hero Academia, and even though I already know what's gonna happen, I am just so ecstatic!!

Just finished watching it after about an hour of me pausing and just screaming and pointing things out to myself. (It took me about 20 minutes to get past the opening💀)

Honest opinion?

I already love it. The opening and ending went SO HARD!! I wasn't even paying attention to the music because the visuals were just so amazing that i had to keep pausing. Like, holy shit. My beautiful tramatized babies are in for a hell of a ride this season! And I'm not prepared one bit to see what they have to go through, but I'm gonna watch it anyway!!

I KNOW I'm gonna cry, I know it! But will that stop me? Fuck. No.

I just recently got back into My Hero again after, like, idk, 2 to 3 years after my hyperfixation ended?? (I still kept up to date but wasn't as into it) I binge read volumes 34 to 36 in less than 24 hours and . . . WTF!?

I was already spoiled about Aoyama being the UA traitor so it didn't hurt as bad but I still felt so upset for my precious flamboyant baby. 😭

THEN

When I got to volume 36, I was like "huh, since Midoriya was warped to the wrong place wouldn't it be funny if Bakugo just straight up died before he could get there? Haha . . ."

. . .

I hate myself.🥲

WHY HORIKOSHI!?!!??! WHY DID THE VOLUME HAVE TO END LIKE THAT!?!? THAT CLIFFHANGER WAS AN ATTACK ON MY HEART!!

It was one thing to see THAT panel of Bakugou on my phone, it's an entirely different thing to actually read it happening and see the looks on everyone else's face once they realize what just happened.

I. Am. Sobbing.

I work in customer services and today as I was going to tell this guy his total, I look over and see fucking Philza Minecrafts face. But I was like "No, wait, he ain't in America. This can't be right. RIGHT?!"

It was one of his clones.

It felt so weird to hear an American accent while looking into a face that looked like Phil's. For a sec, my heart stopped.

I SAW HIM AGAIN!!

We got to talk more today and he is such a sweetheart! We genuinely had a real conversation (which doesn't happen very often). He is becoming one of my favorite customers. Not just because he looks like Phil but also because he is just very nice to me and my colleagues.

I can't wait to talk to him again! :D

He stands at the entrance, body shaking and splattered with the strangers blood. Hot and heavy tears quicken their pace down their cheeks. Their slow sobs begin to morph into manic cackles. A wicked grin etching itself across their face. Their laugh echoes and reverberates off the luminous stone infront of them and bounces back into the valley below.

He turns to face the sun with the doors entrance to his back. Hiding the bloody corpse of a tall feline behind its thick walls. They watch as the sun rises high into the sky, tear still flowing like a river down their face.

"I'll be the one to figure this all out, dont you worry. I'll be the one." He giggles to himself while glancing back at the door. Only for a moment.

They turn away and begin to make their journey back home.
