I spent five years in a relationship with a man I believed would be my husband. It ended because he refused to talk about marriage, children, or building a future. That wasn’t confusion—that was a dead end.

What felt like a loss was actually a redirection. I’m now married to a man who didn’t hesitate to choose me, commit to me, and ask me to be his wife. Nearly a decade later, we’re building a life and a business together. God knew exactly what He was doing. His plans are greater.

I love not being able to sleep.

This past week I’ve only managed a few hours at a time—if that. I wake up wide awake, scroll on my phone, and watch the hours crawl by until the sun comes up. I thought I had beaten insomnia, but apparently not. Maybe this is just part of getting older. I just hope my cortisol levels aren’t through the roof 🙄
