my name's ezreal, i'm 19, and i didn't realize you were supposed to pour coffee creamer into the coffee. i thought it was its own standalone thing that you could drink. i always wondered why it didn't taste like coffee.

The sound of glass breaking interrupted Darwin’s melancholy train of thought. “What the-!?” He looked up from his book to see a blond man roll out and onto the ground before him, and before he could ask if the other guy was okay, he dove into the nearby shrubbery. Ouch…that had to hurt.

Darwin didn’t even notice the two men leaving the building not too far away. instead focusing on the man in the bushes. When he looked up, seemingly unscathed, Darwin’s surprise became even more evident.

“That was…a hell of an entrance. Or exit, I guess. Are you all right?“

“yeah dude, check it out!”

ezreal sticks his arm out and reveals a couple of diamond necklaces. “i think those guys robbed a jewelry store or some nonsense like that, so i tracked them like ten blocks and reverse robbed them. hopefully they won’t miss this stuff. now i’m wondering if i should return this or not.”

he pulls himself out of the bushes and picks various sticks and leaves off of his jacket, and out of his hair.

“hmm .. i think some twigs went down the back of my pants.”

that’s ice in his shirt. more reactionary than anything, he yelps.

“yeoch! that’s cold!” he grabs ice from the ground and sticks it down the back of ezreal’s shirt. “take that!”

“whoa, whoa, whoa! oohh ho ho, oh ho ho, whoaaa! that’s so cold! it’s freezing, man, what the hell! what’s the matter with you!”

ezreal bounces around like a maniac trying to shake his shirt and jacket loose of the ice. some of it manages to slip underneath his waistband.

“ack! oh god! it’s in—it’s on my cheeks, dude!”

Socializing with strangers didn’t come easily to Darwin, but staying in an apartment all by himself was making him more than a little stir crazy. Fortunately, this new home of his did seem to be quite a vast place, with plenty of shops and other locations to explore. Still, he missed his family back home, and there wasn’t anything that could fill that emptiness.

He tried so, so desperately to focus his eyes on the page of his book as he sat in a relatively quiet spot. The story of adventure was compelling, but he found himself worried about his true home and its people. He was so engrossed in thought that he didn’t even notice the approach of another person.

darwin’s quiet and uneventful afternoon is about to come to an abrupt and unceremonious end. a nearby window shatters, and ezreal comes barreling out of it, hitting the concrete in a well-timed tactical roll before hopping up, avoiding most of the glass that flies all over the place.

ezreal hurtles down the street and launches himself into the bushes situated just behind the tree darwin is seated by, and a couple of dudes emerge from the establishment the blond just left, aimlessly going in the wrong direction looking for him.

after a brief delay, ezreal’s head pops out of the bushes.

“oh man, that was close, haha. nice.”

ezreal smirks.

“alright, sure. check this out, man.”

ezreal goes for the nearest mound of snow and sifts through it until he finds a handful of like, chips of icicles. he returns to albie.

he sticks the ice down the front of albie’s shirt.

raihxn‌:

while raihan doesn’t seem to grow tired of reiterating himself over and over again for people who aren’t familiar with the concept of pokémon, duraludon has grown weary of people fawning over him relentlessly. he actually prefers the ones who do their utmost to avoid him now. back home, the steel-type had been a bit indifferent and, on occasion, would do photo ops with his trainer.

the moment he realizes that he’s being approached by another slack-jawed human— at least this one looks human, but duraludon doesn’t know a fucking thing in all honesty— he closes his mouth.

mechanisms can be heard moving and clanking within him, but only subtly. the aluminum can is thoroughly crushed and eviscerated. ezreal, that could be you, if you play your cards right! the double back-flip is a little impressive even for a pokémon. when the blonde calms down, duraludon lifts one of his massive metal arms.

places it upon ezreal’s head. and starts pushing downward.

it’s at the moment that raihan practically roars from across the street, having finally found his pokémon and is absolutely not having it with duraludon’s intention to compress ezreal into a single atom. raihan comes charging across the street.

ezreal, somehow, recognizes what is happening to him, and hollers with alarm. he just kind of flips out a little bit instead of trying to move away or anything like that.

“oh, jeez! oh man! i’m being compressed! get this big guy off of me!”

he hears someone shouting and barreling towards his location, and registers that incoming individual as another threat moreso than help, so he does what he feels is best: he crumples to the ground and plays dead.

“argh .. no! not the blunt force trauma! what a terrible minor inconvenience!”

however, he is not good at it. he spots a worm on the concrete next to his head and reaches over to pick it up.

ezreal watches with a pair of binoculars, through which he is looking through the wrong end.

“man, how come everyone’s so far away also ..”

He was looking around for something to do- his Charizard was in his ball, the weather wasn’t overly great for him so Leon was limiting letting him out per day. So with this free time, he was taking a look around Koi- he had heard it ‘wasn’t always like this.’ Which really Leon didn’t mind how it looked right now, other than theCharizard factor of that.

The Champion looked around with a grin on his face- of course not focused on where he was going. Oh, and if fate would have it he bumped into someone- shit.   “ AH..mate I’m so sorry. ” Leon rubbed the back of his neck nervously looking away, he wasn’t used to acting like such an idiot, this wasn’t very ‘Champion’ of him at all.

ezreal is standing in one place with a pair of binoculars, looking out at the distance through the wrong end. his shirt is also on backwards, because the tag is sticking up past the collar directly below his chin and neck, and he seems to not be aware of this in the slightest.

“man .. i gotta walk a long way just to get to that hot dog cart over there.”

he lowers the binoculars and stares plainly at them .. wondering why they are shaped so strangely, instead of realizing he is holding them wrong .. and then he is bumped into. ezreal yelps and flings the binoculars high above his head, and as a kneejerk reaction, he whips around and gets into a vague martial arts stance.

“an assassin?! you’re gonna have to try harder than that if you want to—”

oh. it’s his roommate. “oh. hiya purple hair! what’s up, dude?”

his binoculars fall down behind them and shatter upon hitting the concrete.

oh my god. albie gets half-eaten burger smeared over his face. in response, he takes a hot dog with mustard and mushes it into ezreal’s hair. at least it blends in, but oh my god. man, there’s ketchup all over albie’s face. that sucks.

“bold of you to think i have any money to my name, fool. maybe you should get a job instead, clown.”

albie does not throw the hot dog into the street, he just puts it back down where he found it. also, he rolls ezreal off of him so he can sit up.

“dude, that’s the plan, damn it! haha, oh geez, you’ve got ketchup all over your cheek. crappy little ketchup face.”

then, albie pushes a hot dog with mustard into his hair, and ezreal screams. he reaches up and tousles his own hair, as though the mustard is a bee that can be shooed, but that isn’t how it works.

“why the hell is everyone that i talk to completely broke? what’s the matter with you guys? i’m about to go commit theft.”

the steel-type pokémon has managed to wander away from its trainer again, which is really a mystery considering that straight-steel stomping against the ground is really hard to not notice. raihan trusts his partner to keep out of trouble, for the most part, and doesn’t worry terribly much when duraludon goes on a walk.

but that’s mostly back home. in this place, raihan’s feeling like he’s losing his damn mind with how often the pokémon disappears on him.

duraludon has picked up an empty aluminum can and is inspecting it rather thoroughly. after a moment, it opens its giant maw and tosses the can in.

ezreal spots the creature from like, across the street. what is that. his eyes widen and he reaches up to scratch the top of his head, tousling his blond hair, which is highlighter yellow at the moment with the way that the sun shines down on him.

without a single beat of hesitation, he approaches the creature. he tilts his head left, and then right, and then ..

throws his arms up and makes loud noises, as though one would do to maybe intimidate a bear, or drive off a curious wolf.

“ahhh! what’s up with you, fella?!”

then, ezreal steps back and leaps high into the air, doing a perfect double back flip.

this guy is disgusting. that’s the first thought to come to liquid’s mind when he watches with abject horror as ezreal takes a bong-worthy huff of this mystery chemical. when he comes to from almost blacking out, he’d notice that liquid is staring at him with a legitimately horrified yet also judgmental expression.

the man is floored. the audacity. unreal.

when liquid finally finds his voice, he practically barks, “HELL no! i’m not going to rot my brain in my skull to one-up you and i’m surely not going to give you any money!”

he does, however, snatch the air freshener out of ezreal’s hand. liquid is a man of his word, but he’s deathly curious. a part of him desperately wants to check it out later or perhaps even experiment with it himself.

“oh, come on, bro! you’re holding it right now! just take a whiff! what are you afraid of? seriously, you’re not getting any younger, and you need to start taking risks.”

ezreal steps back and leaps up into the air, performing a perfect double back flip. it is unclear what this is about or how it emphasizes his point at all, but he definitely just kind of does it.

“what would i have to do to earn a few dollars from you? i’m down for mostly anything, but no murder, hotshot. i’m pretty good at stealing stuff, if you’re interested in something you don’t plan on acquiring legally.”

“haha .. hot cocoa is in. for now. but have any of you ever considered cold hot cocoa? an oxymoron, maybe .. but completely possible. if you’d like to know more, i’m about to dump all of these chocolate bars into a cauldron.”
