I’m not as active on tumblr anymore ;-;

But I’m still alive and still making art!

I’m now employed on my first job as an animation background artist, and I used my recent salary to buy a Yoosung call card and I’m finally playing the bonus route with V! (I’ve had the hourglasses for a while lol) It’s almost Yoosung’s birthday~ I will see if I can make art for him hehe.

For those of you following my other socmedia, u can see I’m in a bit of a pit rn but I wont give up making my own art. I don’t want to!

Here’s some stuff I’ve been doing for the RPs I’m in haha.

I’m pretty proud of them, and I think I’m getting better, little by little at my art ;w;)

I got sentimental and looked up my old chubby MC ask which is the first art I ever did that got a lot of reach, and I think its what got me most of my followers now! So just reminder that I’m alive~

Maybe its just me...but this recent trend of buying someone's original paintings and then painting over it seems like really disrespectful

Like I get once you buy it, its yours but imagine selling one of your paintings you worked so hard on and only years later finding out someone painted all over it and ruined your original vision

Idk maybe I'm being sensitive but I'd like to think if I sold my paintings people would respect my art and my artistic intention and wouldn't impose their ideas on my piece, acting like they somehow improved it

People going to thrift stores so they can buy these original paintings cheaply, and then defacing them. And they are original paintings. In one video a girl straight up says she wants an original, not a copy or print.

That one thumbnail that says 'trash to treasure' really pisses me off, because he's straight up calling the original artist's work trash

In the video he says he feels like he's collaborating with the original artist. Now I don't know about anyone else, but when I collaborate with another artist, one, I ask them first. You can't call it a collaboration if you've never contacted or communicated with the other artist. That's not how collabs work.

I'm starting work training, and I'm realizing just how much time I spend on these things, and I decided I needed to raise my prices. People don't comission me often, but most that do, have been more than willing to pay this range more than the prior. :\

This time it's a little special...I used to want to avoid drawing 'future' and 'past' illustrations, cuz I didn't want to spoil shit. But I suppose this much should be fine.....?
