If you find yourself in Georgetown on Saturday this weekend stop by the new Thos. Moser furniture store. They are having an open house between 10 and 6. They are craftsman of beautiful handmade American furniture; pieces that you can pass down to future generations.

Split-level Personality

I’ve been working on a new project; A renovation and addition of a split level home here in Bethesda.

Currently the house looks like this:

The major items on the client’s wish list was a new kitchen and master suite along with better flow inside and enhanced curb appeal.

We presented three schemes.

Leather Tree Rug

One of the show stopping items in our space at the DC Design House will be an amazing leather "tree" rug. Made to order and handcrafted in Chicago by Lynchburg, Virginia's Moore & Giles, this rug is truly a work of art.

Cow Parsley

As we prepare for the DC Design House I wanted to start sharing some of the items we are installing in our space.

One of the first items to draw people's attention when they come into the stair hall is the "Cow Parsley" wallpaper by Cole and Son . It will be a dramatic focal point going up the stair from the first floor.

I love how this paper bridges the traditional and contemporary, tying in perfectly with our modern farmhouse aesthetic. Reminds me of rolling Virginia pastures .... at night.
