Important announcement

Hello everyone. It’s very obvious that this AU has died due to inactivity. We only have three people active in the AU, and it isn’t fair to them that they are the only ones producing content. Even with new moderators, the AU is going in decline, so we have decided to end the aquaverse AU.

It was a hard decision to make as I’m sure the world building and interactions were fun for everyone involved, but this is just being dragged on and nothing is really happening.

To the people who still plan on being active, you do not have to delete your blogs, but they will technically be considered independent, so you can do whatever you want with them.

Austin tries to sign something, but he has a notebook and pen in his hands. He doesn’t realize he’s not signing but instead just waving his hands about.

But he looks like he’s trying to ask the other mers something.

She tilted her head to the side. “Huh?” She knew he wanted to ask something but not what exactly he was asking. “What’s with the notepad Bror?” She tried to figure out what was going on, she had a sinking feeling that he was leaving again but wondered what the notepad was for.

Austin looked at the note pad as if he forgot he even was holding it. He put the notebook gently between his teeth and put in pen behind his ear. He signed carefully, “I’m going to the ocean, do you want anything?” He asked excitly before taking the notebook from between his teeth ready to write down what the other mers wanted.

Her face fell for a clock tick before reverting. She was right, he was leaving again. She nodded, “Mostly just anything shiny! Especially gems like the last one! It’s really pretty so if you find any as pretty can you maybe get them for me?” She asked hoping to add to her collection, with all the gems she’s found for others her horde seems to be withering.

Austin clicked, there was no meaning behind it but to express joy. He wrote down what she wanted, although his writting looked nothing like the English language or any mordern language to be honest.

Austin put the pen behind his ear so they could sign, “so super shiny gems? Like the one you gave me?” Austin clarified grabbing his pen again.

A red headed kid walked up to the edge of your open top tank. They held out a plushie.

"Hey! Your Austin right? I have this mega pokemon plushie for you!"

He held out the plushie and showed it to him;

"It's missing a middle rod on the left, sorry about that, but it's called a Mega Sharpedo!"

Austin seems confused but he likes the gift. He takes the gift gently and places it tenderly on the platform above his tank to avoid it from getting wet.

In the distance the familiar sound of webbed feet on tile can be heard, getting closer and closer. A quick glance at the clock shows that it’s almost lunchtime. (@ask-aquaverse-sealandandsweden the sandwich thief is here :) )

Micheal seemed to accept the fate of his sandwitch as he heard the resident bird gremlin approach.

Peter walked into view with his wings up ready to fly, but put them at this side when he noticed that his victim Micheal made no attempt to run. Peter hopped up to him and loudly asked “Oi, what’s wrong, why aren’t you running?” while walking around him.

“Not in the mood right now Peter, you know where my lunch is.” Micheal sighed rubbing his temples. “Austin isn’t doing good right now and I’m tired.” He was sat on a bench infront of Austin’s tank.

Peter stared at him for a minute before heading for the sandwich. But wasn’t gone for that long and soon came back with some of Micheal’s lunch. He jumped up on the bench with him and set down what he didn’t eat next to him. He looked up at Micheal expecting him to take it, there wasn’t much food left but it’s the thought that counts.

Micheal let out a heavy sigh and watched Austin. At the time the shark was asleep and flopped over his pillow.

“You can have it Peter, my dad is bringing me to get food after my shift,” Micheal said rubbing his temples.

It had been a hectic few days and Micheal has been tired. Austin couldn’t move well and Micheal has been in and out of water helping the bull shark. He was tired.

Peter only got more concerned and tried to think of things that made humans happy, while he was wolfing down the rest of the food. ‘they like food and feeding animals, no he’s getting food and fed me but isn’t happy. They like petting animals, not gonna pet me. Oh! they like sleep’ he thought to himself. As soon as he finished eating he jumped off the bench, turned to Micheal and said “Follow me”.

He was startled a bit at the fact there was another in his tank, but he did listen to what the eel mer had to say. Austin traced over the new scar on his eye, he gave a bit of a smile. “I guess we do,” He signed, but he nodded.
