Alaric Saltzman had his best friend back, Elena had her boyfriend and Bonnie back. The only one who didn’t need to be here was Katherine Pierce. She had been back all of 2 days and Alaric had to remain at arms lenght, something about her made him lose the little control he learned to acquire. The smell of her blood, the memories of her trapped in his apartment. It was beginning to undo him. So he kept his distance until today. Caroline planned a welcome home party for Bonnie and he offered to help. So he was bringing in liquor when he saw her. She looked gorgeous as always and he felt his fangs throb as the veins around his eyes became visable.

Rushing forward he dragged her downstairs to where he could talk to her privately. “What the hell did you do to me?” He asked her furiously as his hand was still wrapped around her arm.

It was too weird being back. And being back human made it even more weird. She missed being a vampire. The only reason she was still here in Mystic Falls is because Stefan so gracefully offered to house her until she figured something out. She seriously needed to figure something out. Everyone was bouncing around so happy to have the little witch and Damon back --- without a single care that she even existed.

Before she had a second to realize what the hell was going on, she was dragged to the basement. She winced at the grip on her, “You. are hurting me.” she all but snarled. When she looked up she was met with vampire eyes and a certain hunter’s face. “I haven’t done anything. Now let me go.”
