REMIX | book arts

REMIX | The Letterpress, the Woodblock, and the Watermark: Book Arts in Archives and Special Collections is a contest to inspire literal and figurative out-of-the-box ideas for cultural heritage collections. Archives aren’t just about serious research, they can be about serious (or not so serious) art! Redaction poetry, GIFs, collages, coloring pages, creative writing, memes, and other creative interventions are all ways to remix. Images for REMIX available on Flickr.

Announcing the 2019 REMIX winners!

1st place: “Rabbitowitz Has a Good Idea,” Acrylic and collage on canvas, 12" x 36" by Carolyn Garner.
