Faintly glowing eyes slowly fluttered open. Looking around, Ava quickly deduced that her surroundings were unfamiliar. She didn’t move for the moment, still laying down on the metallic floor. Eyebrows furrowed out of confusion and her first immediate thought was that she had been captured.

But her ears picked up the sound of faint….arguing. Odin and Gil’s arguing to be precise. Was that a good sign? Ava was not sure.

Quietly did she get up. Her body somewhat ached from all that it had endured and unleashed but Ava didn’t mind. There were more important matters. She turned her head and was pleasantly shocked to see her former friend. Well now, how interesting.

A toothy grin graced across her lips as she turned to fully face the other in her direction.

“Good afternoon, Maggie. Pray tell, how long have I been asleep for?”

     “ Ava?! ” Red hair stirred, taking Maggie aback. She scrambled backwards, fear read through on her face as if she were looking at a monster. She wanted to hide, for Gil to protect her. He couldn’t stay mad at her if she needed his help, could he?

     “ G-Gil! ” Harder tugs on his sleeve to jerk his attention away from the man who’d kidnapped her. “ She’s up! ” She was partially yelling now. They’re arguing still, for God knows what reason. Maggie’s attention returns to the fiery girl, her expression angry. “ Just stay there, you crazy bitch. If you come close, I’ll make you wish you were never born. ” All talk, there was no fire being green eyes.

    “He was part of my honor guard. I knew him since I was young, no     one else painted like he did.” He was her friend, but he’d sacrificed     so much for her, it would have been wrong not to acknowledge his     duty as her knight.

    “He passed away several years ago, while in my service.”

      “ Like a match made by heaven. ” Maggie wasn’t looking to be told stories of Tuls past, she didn’t care. “ You know he’s OBSESSED with you, like, majorly. You’re all he talks about sometimes. ” She was trying to push the subject of how crazy in love with her Tuls was. It was borderline psychotic . . .

    “Tuls.” The name springs forth immediately, and with is the dredge of     still recent grief. It isn’t often Ranunculae is so suddenly confronted by     her grief, the strange use of present tense goes ignored as she nearly     stammers, “You knew Tuls Tenebrose?”

     “ You must be pretty close with the sad sap, I hardly described him. ” What weird hell was this, she knew Tuls? He’d always made it seem as though he watched her, and everything was one-sided. “ Yeah, I know OF him. ” She didn’t think it was creepy at all, the way she was worshiped by him without even really knowing. She was his obsession.

Time for an unpopular opinion!!!

While they are cute together?? I don’s ship o.din and a.va.

So sure they’re cute, and age hasn’t stopped me before because sometimes (while it’s weird and I definitely don’t condone it in any shape, way or form) it does happen in real life, but I just don’t think they go together very well. I feel as though it’s more of a big brother/little sister type of thing. Sure, their demons are a thing, but I don’t think they are.

They still have a cute relationship, I just don’t think it’s a romantic one.

Disclaimer: Saying I don’t condone a legal adult with a child, I mean it, I don’t even like to date anyone under 20 and I’m only 21. When things like that happen, I ALWAYS think their is something wrong with the older person, bc why wouldn’t you want to date someone close to your age ( I also went on a date with a guy who was 8 yrs older than me once, and it was the worst ).

    “E–Excuse me?” Ranunculae can’t help but blink at the young woman calling out to her.

     “ Yeah, I know someone who only ever paints you. It’s honestly pathetic, don’t you think? ” Wouldn’t Tuls be so happy to see her, but he didn’t deserve it yet. Not while Maggie was still loveless, he had to own up to his end of the bargain.

      Not to be that guy, but if Maggie were to be the human in Undertale she’d follow the no-mercy route. I feel I’ve been playing her kinda nice, but it’s hard to discern how she treats normal strangers.      From now on I may just have her always be hard to get along with. I mean, she really is. She doesn’t necessarily want to get close to just anyone just for friendship. After the unknown thing that happened with Ava, Maggie is pretty weary of friendships. She isn’t even upset that her planet was destroyed, which could lead one to believe she has no other friends. She looks out for herself, and only herself. Who will if she won’t?
