god of: freedom, wanderlust, and hunting
worshippers tend to: hunt with a bird or canine, more inclined to be adventurers or simply travelers and traveling peddlers, and the more devout ones work to aid those in need of freedom.
gifts: summer always accepts any type of flowers, even weeds, every weapon except guns, and legend has it, that if you leave a wounded animal in her temples it returns to you fully healed and stays by your side and even hunts. if you bring her a dead bird or wolf you killed or maimed, her wrath will be in spoiled food and rotting nature around you. she also accepts meal offerings.
she tends to shapeshift a lot, mostly into a bird or a wolf. as a bird, she is a simple nightingale, but she doesn’t sing, and only the sharpest of eyes can see the way her wings glow. as a wolf, she appears smaller than a typical one, but with a speed unmatched by any natural wolf, able to catch any creature she sets her mind to.
hunters come and go, selling their goods and buying sharpened tools, but this one seems to only be giving it away- to the people who have nothing, and are in their own cage. her hood is up, and her clothes ragged from nature, yet her skin is pure and her face, more beautiful than one could imagine a hunter. seeing her is a rarity in times like these, and mean one of two things. either that it is the right time to break your chains and go free, or to go out, and explore- even to the next town. it is much more common to see her animal forms, and which means that your hunting days will come no harm to you.
once, a madman swore he had seen her back, and how there was a white outline of wings on her back decorating her skin– about how she must have actual wings. it is unclear if he was right or not, as it seems the goddess isn’t keen on spending time on humans.
her blessings are rare. so rare, that if you are blessed, you are considered a wingless child. her blessings are simple, and usually guarantee a longer span of life ( 20-40 yrs ) as well as improved hearing, and the insatiable ache to never stop exploring.
