Hi! Call me Hat or Hatty, I'm 19, I go by he/him, I'm a trans nonbinary man and this is my writing side blog where I shitpost about being a writer and maybe share some of my ideas.

DNI if you're against any oppressed minority group, I won't tolerate any ignorance or cruelty. Also, if I ever say anything that comes off as ignorant myself, I strongly encourage you to politely correct and inform me. I'm not an all-knowing being, I am 19 years old, human, and prone to making mistakes like anyone else. With that being said, I recognize this and want to learn and be considerate to all my fellow people, so please don't be shy to correct me ever.

My 1 complaint of the mm books I have read so far is: Why must the men always be conventionally attractive? Give me a scrunkly man. Give me a ghoul. Give me a goblin even.

Ok I actually have another book recommendation.

If you like really dark romance, check out Gale Ian Tate's Virtual Vice series. I'm only 10% into book one of two, but omfg I love it so far.

Ok time for book recommendations of the month:

For mm tm4m, I highly recommend A Bone In His Teeth by Kellen Graves. The main character is a trans man who gets paired with a cis man. It's a fantasy sailor story and it's SO GOOD. There's some smut and a lot of angst though (which I LOVE).

For simply mm, I recommend River Hale's Far From series. The books are all great and they just get better and better as the series goes on omg. It's enemies to lovers of characters that already exist and it's high smut, with some angst, but also very cozy and heartwarming.

I am very happy to announce that my first work that I actually plan on publishing some time soon is in progress!!!! I will be writing a mini collection of gothic short stories (that are queer, because I am a very queer individual). I should be publishing them by the end of this summer at the earliest!

So, this is a little embarrassing to admit, but, I kept having periods of writer's block and not knowing what to do about it for years until now. I figured out, what I should do during my block, is read/gather inspiration so I can get out of it faster! I say this because I want my tip to hopefully help others who didn't know that out :3
