Masquerade Time || Aria & Zita
"Yeah, I just landed," Zita said into the phone as she walked through the airport, "I donât know, Matt, can you just handle it? Isnât that what I pay you for, I meanâŠ???" Zita brusher her long hair back over her shoulders and let out a breath, "Tell VS that I will fly anywhere they want, whenever they want, but I would just like two weeks for time with my family, I donât think thatâs a ridiculous request." Shaking her head, she muttered, "Just take care of it, Matt. Goodbye." She then hung up the phone and stuffed it down into the cross-body bag she carried.
Z stopped by the designated area and picked up Leo, smiling happily as her pup came bounding out of his crate and into her arms. âHey, handsome, I missed you, too!â she let him give her a couple of sloppy kisses before standing, signing the required papers and heading off towards the baggage claim.
As she came up the escalator, Z spotted the crowd of people who were waiting for friends and family and loved ones to come off their flights. But then she caught sight of her name on a sign and paused, turning back to look at it. Sheâd only told Aria and Henry that she was coming back into town; she hadnât expected either of them to actually show up. So seeing Aria standing there holding a sign with her name on it was⊠Well⊠Shocking.
Z brushed a strand of hair back from her face and let out a light laugh as she approached her sister. Even though sheâd just been through two airports and a long ass flight, Z still looked like a million bucks. Her Ma would have killed her otherwise. âAri?â she said with a warm smile, âI didnât expect anyone to pick me up!â She stepped in and wrapped her arms around her sister, âIâve missed you! I know we saw each other in London, but that seems forever ago, too.â
When Aria set her mind to something, there was just about nothing that could change it. So when her baby sister had told her that  she was back home to visit, Aria had gone into presto mode. She knew that Zita hadn't left simply because she wanted to be a model. Of course, that had played a huge role in her decision, but it hadn't escaped Aria's attention the way that as Z got closer and closer to graduation, she had distanced herself more and more from the family. She was barely ever home and the few times Aria had invited her to do something, her baby sister had politely but firmly declined.Â
Aria wasn't naive, she knew she'd played a role in causing the distance between herself and Zita. Growing up, she'd been too focused on chasing after Henry and Theo to pay much attention to her youngest sibling, especially when having Zita tag along meant she got stuck with having to look out for her. As a tomboy dead set on proving herself to her older brothers and the other boys in the pack, Aria wasn't about to let anything, even her little sister hold her back. And that hadn't been fair to Zita.Â
Now that Zita was coming back home, Aria was determined to make things right. Sure, she was still green with envy over the fact that Z had managed to get out of Oxford and to some place as fabulous as NYC, but with Theo back in town as well, Aria was going to make the best of this time with her family while she had it. Plus, maybe if she mended the bridges between her and her siblings, they wouldn't leave her after all.Â
Standing at the waiting area with a bejeweled, glittered, completely pink and huge sign with Zita's name on it, Aria waited for her sister to arrive. When she finally spotted the gorgeous brunette with her puppy in her arms, Aria practically rolled her eyes. Zita was a born Victoria's Secret Angel if there ever was one. Greeting her little sister with a tight hug, Aria grinned down at her. "I couldn't let my baby sister find her own way home from the airport, now could I?" Aria offered to take some of Zita's bags for her. "I know! Far too long! I'm actually pretty ticked off that you didn't kidnap me and force me to stay in NYC with you, Z." she teased, before bending down a little to grin at and pet Leo. "He really is the handsomest dog in the family." she gushed. Aria couldn't wait to get him home and tease Henry and Theo for being uglier than Zita's dog, even in wolf form.
JUST JARED X REVOLVE DINNER IN MALIBU
Mother Fucker Didn't Even Call | Theo & Aria (closed)
Theo knew he was forgetting something.Â
Heâd been back in town for a whole week and in that time heâd managed to finally get everything moved into a new house, take that job that his brother had constantly been bugging him about since heâd decided to move back, and had only just finished off with his realtor. He had about enough of adulthood for one full week â the very first thing he needed now that he was back was a meal at Maâs and a bedtime of 9:30. But that thing that Theo kept forgetting kept nagging and nagging at him up until the very second he heard the coat hanger topple to the floor. âShit.â âOh good,â Maria called from the kitchen, ignoring Theoâs frantic hand gestures as he attempted to scarf down his garlic bread and wordlessly get his own mother to shut her mouth for a second. To no avail, of course. âI didnât tell the girls I was back yeeeeheeeey, Aria,â Theo stood, dropping his bread back on his plate and moving around the island to greet her, an impish smile plastered to his face and his arms outstretched wide to hug her. Seconds later he had her enveloped in a hug, pressing a garlicky, buttery kiss to her forehead. âI was gonna call you. Tonight. After dinner. Honest.â He probably wouldnât have remembered to call until his mother asked him if he had, in fact, called his sisters. And even then he probably would have waited until he ran into one in the streets. âHowâs my favorite sister??!â
Aria was still frozen in her spot as Theo's muscley arms wrapped around her and his slobbery, wet lips were pressed to her forehead. She was trying to decide just how angry to be with him. He had been here long enough to have Ma prepare a meal for him and he hadn't called her yet?! He hadn't even called her when he decided to come back to town?! Who did this mother fucker think he was?Â
Her arms stayed pinned to her sides as he hugged her and by the time he finally let go of her, it was clear from her expression she was about to blow. Her brows crinkled and her mouth stayed locked in a straight line, indicative of just how pissed off she was. Aria definitely picked up the Italian temper typical of the Bertinelli side of the family.Â
"You prick!" she yelled, shoving him away from her. "You mean to tell me that after being gone for ten fucking years, you show up here and don't even call?" "Arie!!" Maria scolded, using the nickname she had called Aria since she was a baby, from where she stood, bent over the stove where she was still preparing some sort of delicious concoction. No matter how hard Maria Bertinelli tried to instill a clean vocabulary into her children, the Bertinelli siblings seemed to retain their colorful, expletive-ridden one instead.Â
Aria was far beyond holding back right now though, she couldn't believe he'd actually done this. "But Ma!" she whined, stomping her foot in frustration. She stomped over to their mother and began complaining in Italian, her words blurring together as they tumbled out of her mouth. Aria always spoke 10x faster when she was speaking in Italian.Â
She couldn't actually believe nobody had bothered to tell her that her brother was home. They were fucking Italians, for Christ's sake! They couldn't keep their mouths shut about anything, but they all finally decide to take a vow of silence when the prodigal son finally returns home?! This shit was fucked up.Â
Her mother didn't seem to see the problem though, and quickly dismissed Aria's complaints, leaving poor Theo in Aria's crosshairs. She wheeled on her brother, her arms folded over her chest as she glared at him. He was stuffing his face again. "You really couldn't pick up a fucking phone and call?" she grumbled.Â
"if you guys were on a desert island and you had one electronic device, would you have a cellphone, computer or television?" [x]
"tbh, getting âwolfed out onâ is a pretty common occurrence in the bertinelli household." -truer words have never been spoken
Mother Fucker Didn't Even Call | Theo & Aria (closed)
Aria was a freaking grown up! She had ordered everyone in her family to think of her as one since the age of 18. But of course, no one actually treated her like an adult. Even now, at the age of 26, her mother and older siblings still viewed her as little, baby Arianna who had to call home and ask Theo how fill up her car at the gas station the first time her parents refused to do it for her... at the age of 22. They still thought of her as the young, naive little girl who used to sneak into Henry and Theo's room as a child whenever there was a storm because she was terrified of thunder and lightning... and she still was.Â
It simply wasn't fair. Aria was twenty-fucking-six years old! She deserved to be treated like the adult she was.
...After she finished eating dinner at her parents house because she forgot to buy groceries again.Â
Tonight, as Aria had rifled through her refrigerator, well more like gazed into the empty abyss that was her refrigerator, she'd discovered nothing but an open, at least 4 day old beer, one of her pumps whose heel had fallen off (who knew how that got there), and some molding parmesan cheese. Muttering a few expletives in Italian, Aria promptly slammed the refrigerator door, huffed outside to her car and drove to her parents house. It was 6pm, and as soon as she got out of the car, she could smell the aroma of her mother's delicious cooking floating through the air. Her werewolf senses may have helped a bit, but everyone knew Maria Bertinelli's cooking could make even someone who'd lost their sense of smell drool.
"Ma, I'm eating dinner with you tonight!" she yelled as she opened the door and took off her coat, throwing it onto the coat stand that had been knocked over at least a million times by Aria doing just that. She had a reputation of knocking things over with her careless actions. She had a habit ofÂ
"Oh good! You can join your brother!" Maria Bertinelli called from the kitchen. Aria cocked her head to the side, had Henry come back early from his trip? As she opened the swinging door into her mother's kitchen, she was greeted by the sight of an entirely different brother sitting at their mother's island, stuffing his face with Ma's garlic bread.Â
Aria froze in her tracks. "What the hell- Theo???"Â

Traits
(+) Fun, Affectionate, Playful (-) Stubborn, Rebellious, Manipulative
Personality
While Ariannaâs full name means chaste, or very holy, her shortened name more accurately describes her. Aria, which means lioness, is a pretty good descriptor of this young Bertinelliâs personality, just ask either one of her brothers. From a young age she has always been challenging her brothers, no matter how much older or bigger they were. But this rough and confrontational attitude, is Ariaâs way of expressing her affection, especially towards them. Always the life of the party, Aria does better when attention is focused on her. And when itâs not, sheâs definitely not above doing something a little risquĂ© to get the attention back on her.
She loves being thought of as the angelic, sweet Bertinelli daughter, and can play the part quite well. But Aria can be quite manipulative. She knows how to work her looks to her advantage and definitely isnât afraid to pull out the puppy dog eyes, or you know, her boobs, to get out of sticky situations. Sheâs an expert liar, easily thinking of fantastic stories to get out of whatever trouble she is in. And while she loves her family dearly and would never try to pull any of these tricks on them, sheâs definitely been known to work her siblings buttons in a way that she knows will get the reaction or response she wanted.
All in all, Aria can be a sweet angel so long as sheâs getting what she wants. And when sheâs not, well she can be even sweeter to try and change that, or you could be faced with the wrath of a girl whoâs two older brothers taught her how to kick ass and take names later.
Biography
Aria was always closer with her brothers than her sisters, preferring to go out and play cowboys and Indians or wrestle with them than staying inside and playing with the dolls her sisters so enjoyed. Thus, growing up she developed quite the colorful vocabulary, hardly ever dressed like a girl until the age of 16 and could definitely keep up with each and every boy in her pack. Aria was definitely a free spirit, but Nana and Papa Salerno beat some sense and order into this young girl before she got too old. She was no Claire Belfront, but Aria definitely got the majority of her mother and grandparentâs discipline growing up.
That is until her eldest brother went off to join the military and shortly after when her grandparents died. Aria was always particularly close to Theo and when he left to join the military even though Aria knew he didnât have a strong desire to do so, she felt like he was abandoning her. When her grandparents both died shortly after that, Aria, despite the fact that she still had 6 other Bertinelliâs around her, felt very alone. She began acting out, even more so than usual, but all of her actions simply stemmed from a desire to draw Theo back home (he was ever the protector). Many of their phone conversations while he was gone went something like this, âSorry big brother, I canât hear you over all the crazy music at the club where IM POLE DANCING. IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY. ALMOST NAKED.â These actions stemmed from trying to make Theo come home and also her rebellious nature. Now that the two main enforcers of discipline in her life were gone, she wasnât going to let anyone else telling her not to do something stop her from doing just that.
Which is exactly what happened when someone told Aria not to go for the resident bad boy of Oxford. Aria was never in a real serious relationship, but ten years ago she fell fast and fell hard for said bad boy. She followed him around like a lovesick puppy, did whatever he wanted which lead to her losing her virginity to him. One year later, Aria found out she was pregnant and when she told the boy, he freaked out, said he wanted nothing to do with a baby and dumped her. Traumatized and terrified at the prospects of having to raise a child on her own, Aria, without telling any of her family, had an abortion. When she went back to the boy and said that it was a mistake, that she hadnât actually been pregnant, he had already moved on and left Aria alone and heartbroken. She decided right then and there that she would never let someone in like that again. Sheâs had many flings since, but she never lets them get close enough to actually mean anything to her. To this day, she regrets the baby whose life she took, but unable to do anything about it, Aria prefers to hide her fears behind rebellious acts, a carefree, rebellious attitude and lots and lots of alcohol.
