What they were or weren’t wasn’t a concern. What was important was securing their territory and driving the Resistance forces back. 

The woman hesitated, but took the other’s hand as a sort of peace offering. Jaesa was on their side after all. It would only hurt them to keep bickering. Nyla gave her comrade a curt nod before turning her attention back to the battle field. The screams of the TIE fighters, the noise of blasters firing from both guns and ships alike. These were the sounds of war. 

“You cover the left side, I’ll take the right.” Nyla points to the designated areas with her saber hilt. After that, she launches herself into the fray, beginning with a repulse strike which harshly repels a gang of Resistance members. Soon, red plasma cuts through various limbs, necks and torsos of the enemy. 

“Understood,” Jaesa slowly made her way through the hordes of the enemy, looking mostly like she was hardly even trying. Right now, she was just angry, and this vague mass of enemies she was coming across provided an outlet for her to take out any and all rage upon. 

In her wake was scorched earth; the ground soaked itself red with the blood and pain and dark fuel of her enemies’ bodies. In her wake lie the marks of a Sith Sorcerer, the ones whispered in old legends as horrifying monsters of lightsaber and force combat. Red plasma swirled and curled about the girl’s form in an intricate dance of ruby lights that left the ground beneath her devoid of all life.

The resistance, or what was left of it, didn’t stand a chance against them.

I’ve noticed that a lot of Star Wars blogs use current Earth slang and curses such as “Fuck” and “bitch” which do not tend exist in the Star Wars universe. With this in mind, I decided to make a handy resource of some of the curses and slang that are available. For a full list, click HERE

Bucketbrain: Slur for stormtroopers

Bug: Slur for a Genosian

Caraya’s soul: Verbalization of disbelief

Damn: Expletive used to express anger or as a positive modifier, i.e. “Damn good.”
