It certainly is dedication, don't let anyone tell you otherwise, Ari. Getting out there performing is enough. Believe me. Such is life as a workaholic, right?
i can promise that i don't. even when i'm getting told that i'm doing too much. i just hope that i'm able to keep up with everything. it really is, but we get things done, at least.
which is why i'm always thankful for a glam team, so it takes all the stress out of it. you also have to start dealing with grays, which i'm not mad about. i love my gray hair, even though it's not that noticeable yet. see, i knew i couldn't be the only one who thought that. some chihuahua's can be a little too aggressive. i think they're often big dogs in a tiny body. people often hate it when you do start standing up for yourself or others. but it's important to find your voice and use it. if you're not happy or somebody isn't doing that job then they need to know. men do it and they're applauded for it. we do it and we're being difficult and stubborn. i can't wait to see what you pull out for the tour, i'm excited to see a show. i might even try and get to more than one, just to show my support.
the glam team really does making things easier! the grays? i'll embrace those when they come. it might freak everyone out, but who cares? i wouldn't have even known you had any. you aren't! chihuahua's can be aggressive and they let everyone know. big dogs generally are the chill ones. they do hate it, but it's something that should be done. you have to make sure you're voice is heard! men do get away with so much more than we do. i'm okay with being called difficult or stubborn. i hope that whatever i do, makes everyone happy! more than one show? you don't have to, but i'd love if you did!
Yup, you and I are thinking exactly alike. Hey, if you're moving up there and have to memorize certain moves then that's dedication. It's not easy at all. They do feel weird. I mean, I like it when I have a day or two for myself. But if it's weeks, I just can't do it.
which is why we are in the industry that we are! i guess that is dedication? i feel like i don't do as much as i used to. you get so used to having something to do or somewhere to be. a day or two is fine! but weeks? it makes me feel stir crazy.
you've got a point there. like i do love my hair longer, but it takes ages to dry and style. plus as i get older i've noticed it's starting to thin out. so at least with a bob it gives my hair more volume. you're like a chihuahua. so small and cute but you wouldn't want to piss one off. they can get pretty aggressive. i do think it's because nobody expects it from you, so they're all just caught off guard. it makes me happy to know that you can hold your own. too many times women are called difficult to work with, just because we stand up for ourselves. it really suited you, but yeah i can see it being a lot. i think it was a good idea to finally let that go. i think i like your natural hair color the best.
hair can be very time consuming when it comes to maintaining it and styling it. it is very odd when we think about how age can play into such things. the bob does give you more volume and now you know that you can pull it off! you know, i have been compared to them. so small and cute, but not something you'd want to piss off. no one does! which is what makes it that much more entertaining. it took me a while to learn that i have to stand up for myself, but if we don't do it, who would? ther are so many times we can be called difficult. thank you! it was a lot, since they needed it vibrant for filming. i am happy to let it go! you'll just have to wait and see what i decide on for the tour for it!

You and I both, honestly. That's like one solid feeling one might have when it comes to something they're excited about or just passionate. I'm sure it is! Since I'm sure you'll be dancing and such, right? I know that feeling all to well. I took a small break during the holidays and it was...kind of boring.
right? it's something that people should be excited and passionate about. it really is! i am dancing, not quite as elaborate as what my back up dancers are doing, but i'm trying! breaks always do feel so weird, don't they? you feel like you should be doing something and you don't have to be.
i'm glad i got to do it too. it took months of planning and lots of sleepless nigths but it was worth it to see the finale of it all. i like to say that my team did it all, like i couldn't have done it without them. i think that was everyone's favorite part, and i loved all the guesses that they made about the special guests between weekend 1 and 2. some people thought i was going to keep it the same with each one! it's like they don't know me and that i always have a surprise up my sleep. our careers are very much a like. they started off slow and we both had to work our way up.
oh, the suffering that we do for our art. you pulled it off! it was quite the vision and your team clearly helped. i bet that it was! plus you brought out will ferrell? i died when i saw that, he's a legend! i bet you had everyone just trying to make all sorts of guesses. there is no way that you would have kept it the same. we love surprises! they are, started off as child stars and evolved into something else entirely. it's insane when i think about it.
it’s finally taking shape! i’m almost done with the recording and the more technical parts of it. i am trying my hardest to keep the details secret but i confess that it has been hard. you must know how it feels, you work on something for so long that you just can’t wait for the world to see it! i also must admit that i was one of the people freaking out about your new album! honestly, how do you do it? being a movie star and a pop icon at the same time must be exhausting. ( @ariianabgrande )
it sounds like you are so close! it is very hard to keep those details on the down low. i felt like i was confined in the studio and it was like you needed a password ot get in. i do! it's a mixed bag of emotions, wanting everyone to know and then not being ready for it. i think a lot of people were! i have no idea? i honestly hate the idea of not having something to do. so i was writing and then realizing that oh, these are lyrics and i made time for the studio!
there's a lot you don't think about until you have an exposed neck. this hairstyle definitely has it's pros and cons. tiny people usually are the most aggressive, but in the best way possible. people don't expect it, you look so cute and then suddenly bam, you unleash your tiny wrath. we've all done things just for a role, even though we know we probably shouldn't. do you ever miss the bright red you use to have? i imagine the upkeep on that was difficult to manage. i think you're one of those people who can pull off any color. do you have a favourite?
that is true! it just gives you more options fashion wise. most hair styles do, don't they? you just made me think of what people say about tiny dogs. they really don't! the few times i've lost my temper? it made the whole room go silent. we suffer for our art! oh, the red? that was a moment, wasn't it? that upkeep was insane and intense! they couldn't let it fade, so i was in that chair so often. i don't think i miss it that much! a favorite? i never really thought about it.

millie! i feel like this is so late, but congratulations on everything! i kept meaning to reach out to you about the farm. i would love to come visit! only if that's something you'd be good with! i just love the idea of being around that many animals. @milliesbobbybrwn
it was a once in a life time experience! like i will never have a show like those again, counting all those special guests. you are allowed to say that you're proud, ari! you've honestly been there from the start to my career. you let me open for you when i was like a nobody. crazy how things have changed in the 9 years i've known you!
it was! i am so glad that you got to do something like that. it's not something every artist gets to experience. i loved seeing all the special guests come out! that's good, because i am! i always believed in you and our careers started the same way. there is so much that can happen in so little time!
you are, and i'm very appreciative of it. i forgot how cold your neck can get though. if i keep it this length for winter i'm going to have to invest in more scarves. i can't actually imagine you getting that angry, but maybe it's just because i always see the sweet side of you. dying your hair blonde is never a good idea, even though it does save you a lot of time in hair and make up. just keep the dying to a minimum and your hair will be as good as new in no time. you definitely do suit blonde, despite all of this.
thank you! i didn't even think about that. thank god there are scarves and you can pull off anything. especially if you keep the length for winter. not many can, but that side of me is there! you just haven't had to witness it. it's not, but when you do it for a role? you sort of have to just embrace it! i have done a lot to my hair over the years. thankfully doing a movie where i had to go back to my more natural color, helped! i do like knowing that i can pull it off.
Of course, I think if you're nervous to do something then it means you still have a love for it. If you don't get nervous...then maybe that passion for whatever it may be is fading. I'm sure it'll be like riding a bike. You never forget about to do it. Sounds like you've got a jammed pack summer ahead of you!
exactly! if someone wasn't nervous? i'd be wondering why they were still performing. the passion probably would be fading. i hope that's true! the rehearsals have been intense! i will keep that in mind. i really do, but if i didn't stay busy? i might not stay sane.
now you're just buttering me up, and it's definitely working. there's just something so freeing about going short. and nobody wants to have to deal with glinda, but i'm glad she has my back. i guess it's not a hairstyle for everyone, but i feel like you could rock it. i do love that you've gone back closer to your natural color.
am i? i just thought that i was being nice! i could see that, it probably is a very freeing feeling! right? no one wants to deal with an angry glinda, at all. i might be short, but i can be scary. it's not, but you look amazing. thank you! i have and i hope that people are good with it. i know i did so much damage with the blonde.
