”What? Oh— yeah, crap.” The only thing that saves the books and either of them having to suffer the loud sound of toppling hardbacks (and Teddy’s over all embarrassment) is the technicians reflexes, his arm shooting out to catch them and he twists around to lean them against his chest, chin settling on top. Teddy moves to place them somewhere safer before turning to the newcomer, a apologetic and sheepish smile on his face. ”Oh— well— here it is. Not that fancy— really messy. Sorry I— I’m usually cleaner than this? But busy busy and all that—” A pause, he clears his throat, then rubs the back of his head. “I’m Teddy.”
Rin watched the man in action, and she had to admit, she was impressed by his fast reflexes. She let out a whistle as he managed to maneuver himself just in time to keep everything from tumbling to the floor in one big mess. "Nice catch."
And it was kind of cute, how flustered he seemed to be about the mess and his room. She let out a little laugh, and the corners of her eyes crinkled as she did so. "No worries. I shouldn't have so rudely interrupted you. Sorry about that," she told him sincerely. It was a bit rude, after all.
"Hello, Teddy. I'm Rin." She extended one hand out to him for a handshake. "Pleasure to meet the new Head Weapons Specialist."
