Massive Shout-Out to people and bots who spam their shitty posts on fandom tags
Because of you degenerates, I literally cannot look at the latest posts on ANY fandom, because chances are if I do, I'm going to be either hit with:
Porn
Thirst traps
Porn
Spam Ads
People who tag other fandoms just so people can see their posts (which are almost always hate posts)
GORE AT ONE POINT
Malicous links disgused as posts
Porn ... but made with AI
You literally ruin tumblr, and its only because of the newly made communities that you can't spread your filth to every corner like the cesspits of filth that you are.
thanks pad
It took a moment for me to realize the joke since it was forever since I watched SU. I admit, you got me.

I don’t like Owl House
There’s a house, but not enough owls. I think it’s false advertising.
I know that fandoms are quirky and all that, but sometimes I just want to find a fandom that has the slightest bit of interest in the microniche things I focus on.
Like, I want to see what people think of the worlds and the settings of the fictional shows that I like, imaging what could a certain part of the world or communities could be like that is only told of in whispers in canon, developing entire ideas for civilizations and its people and religions, and instead all I get from the fandom are fancam edits, "This-character X reader" and gay people kissing!
Like, to list a few of the fandoms I like here.
Disney's Descendants has a world where all the different fairytale stories and the worlds they all exist together. We could have stories that explore how the kingdoms all interact with each other and have some actual drama with such cultural differences, or even explore the Isle of the Lost develops its own culture. Yet everytime I try to look at the fandom, I get another poster lusting after Harry Hook for the upteenth time!
Miraculous Ladybug (back when I used to like it) had the potential for a ton of story and world building. Yet I can never seem to find any of this as the Lovesquare dominates the fandom, and if I ever hear anyone talk about any of the other locations in that you see in the specials, it will always be about shipping some background characters.
X-men had the Krakoan Age, a period where mutants all lived on a massive island. Not only did the comics refuse to explore the lives of people living there as citizens, any time I search up the tag, I get a bunch of images of Charles and Erik being gay for eachother. Maybe a talk about the Scott Jean Logan polycule if I'm lucky.
I know this is a rant, but I have to get this out there. People who like worldbuilding and politics of fictional shows deserve attention too!
Another Fairy Tale Crashout
Ok i got this idea from Sleeping Beauty don't judge me.
A princess is celebrating her sweet 16th when an evil fairy barges into the castle. Despite the fact that everyone across the kingdom has been invited, from the common folk to the fairy kingdoms, she hasn't been invited. Not Once. Granted she was ignoring the whole thing with some evil schemes or two but that's beside the point! So she curses the princess, dooming her to death on her 18th birthday.
However, there's on tiny problem with that: the princess is actually a weary and bitter individual who's gone insane of the politics of the kingdom due to constantly being barraged with death threats, actual assasinations, marriage offers from airhead princes and men twice her age, and is kind of in the middle of a phase where she may have gotten into dark arts behind her parents back.
Of course, when the evil fairy leaves to cackle in her castle, the pissed off prissy princess sneaks out of the castle and away from her legally distinct 3 fairy protectors, finds the fairy and puts a curse of her own: if the princess dies from the curse, so does the fairy, and it will be excruciatingly painful.
With no normal way to undo the curse (since lets be honest why would you want to undo a curse that ruins an enemy that you hate), the two set off on a multiple kingdom spanning journey to remove the curse before both of them die.
The world is not ready for the worse buddy cop pair of all time that serves cunt and take no prisoners. (And maybe its also a journey where the princess realizes she has a thing for older women but you didn't hear that from me)
It's Tintin Day again! ✨
Slightly delayed because I had a lot going on this week - including my cat's birthday! My silly, demanding, LOUD little Marmite is 20 WHOLE years old!!! ; w ;
So here she is with Haddock, the certified cat dad (who keeps a Siamese at home) while Tintin is a heathen dog person. It's a bonding moment! 💖
Me when edorazzi posts:
Either I've got dementia, or we're celebrating Not-Tin-Tin Day, which is like an Un-Birthday but for Tin-Tin.
A thing about Fairy Tales and Curses...
You despite the fact that most fairy tales involving cursing princes and warriors until they find true love, you never see any one of these characters go after the one that cursed them. It's always "Oh woe is me, I am forever cursed until I receive true loves kiss.", but you never see "This BITCH FUCKING MADE ME UGLY, I AM GOING TO KILL THIS MOTHERFU-"
With this in mind, allow me to procure the first ever crashout fairytale:
A prince refuses to let an ugly woman shelter because he thought she had leprosy (that shit was scary back in the day). The ugly lady reveals herself to be some fairy princess that curses him to become a beast until true love finds him. His parents don't recognise him, the town hates him for his beastly appearance and the princess he was engaged to left him.
Naturally he decides to hide to hide in the forest, forever doomed to be alone until - NAH, this bitch turned him into a furry, she gotta die. Now the fairy princess is on the run from a half-man half-animal that can run at a speed of 47mph (about 80km/h) and is strong enough to tear through towns like butter. Nobody can stop him because he's just too damn fast and powerful
The true loves comes from the fact that he joined soon after by a girl who's singing voice was taken by the same fairy princess, since the girl also thought she had leprosy. This resulted in her unable to earn money for her family. Together, they venture north into the fairy kingdom, capture the fairy princess, and take them back to the human realms so that they can put her on a pyre and burn her and throw a party with the rest of her victims. She tries to beg for her life, offering to break the curse, but nope too late, they don't care, she gotta die. As the two dance to the sound of a bard's music and screaming dying noises of the fairy princess burning at the stake, the two of them think that the other person is amazing and they kiss. Their curses break, and they live happily ever after ... ... actually no, the fairy kingdom wants them dead for killing their princess, but at least they can murder the incoming horde of fairies together. The end
what is the most you would pay for shoes?
25 and under 50 and under 100 and under over 100 (WTF how rich are you?)

Provided that the shoes can last for at least 3+ years and are of good quality, I think its fine if shoes are a bit pricey, though it depends on what the shoes are used for as well. However, this is coming from someone who doesn't buy shoes all the time and, so take that with a grain of salt. (Also dollar value is different in each country, so factor that in too)
That being said, I want to take this moment to give a small PSA
TAKE CARE OF YOUR SHOES.
Although this seems like common knowledge, proper maintenance of your footwear will help extend their usability and make sure they don't suffer unneeded damage. Like sure, some people will put their shoes in the wash if they get dirty, but doing your best to make sure the shoes are fitted on properly and not just shoving your foot in will help prevent unecassary degredation. It takes an extra minute to put on a shoe propery, use it and get a few more years on your shoes.
And if you already know this, then this is just a friendly reminder :)
I just came up with the idea about a guy/girl/person that has traveled the world nonstop and has finally decided to return to their hometown, only to find out that due to their many misadventures, they are now engaged to every sentient fantasy creature imaginable that they didn’t even know about.
Selkie? They returned their coat. Dragon? They gave them priceless jewellery. Fae? Fed them a delectable sweet they made themselves. Ghost? Accidentally put a wedding ring on their burial spot after they died an abandoned bride. Demon? Jokingly gave their soul for a pot of the best chicken jambalaya they ever tasted. And many more.
Now their homelife revolves around making sure they aren't killed due to the many engagements/almost-marriages they now have, along with explaining to their childhood friend who these extremely foreign people are and why they are calling them babe/sweety/berothed/soulmate/plaything.
Spoiler alert: the rat queen of plagues is the best waifu. All she wants is to eat cheese and be tickled. She even makes those cute tickle noises rats make.
Random Thoughts
You know, I can't help but realise that in the world of X-men, it would really suck to be a furry?
Like, imagine having anything to do with the furry community.
You'd have to work even harder to hide you're drawings because there's a 99 percent chance that you would be seen as a mutant lover if your fursona ever go leaked.
You can't wear a fursuit even if you had the money to make it because all it takes is a half-blind or half-drunk mutant hater outside of halloween to mistake you for a mutant and start a mob
Even if those last two bits don't get you murked, all it would take is one mutant hiding in a costume and getting clocked by a sentinel and all furry conventions would be either banned or be seen as Satan's armpit by anti-mutant protestors.
.... On a completely unrelated note, if furries existed in the Marvel Universe would absolutely want to bang the shit out of Hank McCoy. Their thirst for the big guy would probably single-handedly abolished most of the anti-mutant hate in Marvel.
i love them
it goes both ways: a real rujinu shipper never speaks ill of polytrix
A true fan of the movie never speaks ill of either the polytrix or rujinu.
Although the film does kinda lean heavily into the latter, I love that the film not fully confirming it means that you can take either ship as romantic or platonic depending on how you see the movie.
You can easily see the relationship between Rumi and Jinu as a platonic relationship about two people trying to break free of their shames and move forward with their lives with the help of eachother ... but on the flipside the closeness between the members of HUNTR/X (plus the message about being truthful and united with one another) means the film can easily be seen as them realising their love for one another by the end of the movie.
Best part? You can see it the either way as well, with Rujinu being romantic and Polytrix being platonic (or just family-like). Or if you aren't about romance you can see both ships as platonic. Or if you are all about romance you can see BOTH as romantic then cry about how much it hurts your heart to choose.
The fact that both ships can feel equally valid and any scene with one doesn't negate the other makes both ships feel equally sweet. I love this movie.
Can I just quickly point out that Marinette absolutely could have decided to keep the Turtle Miraculous a bit longer after the s5 finale, to wear it like 3 times (according to Illustrhater) and then get a Turtle Kwagatama to have Fu's spirit as her guide from now onwards again?
Cause she could absolutely do that. She doesn't need to be the permanent holder, she just needs the slightest bond with the Kwami and then give the order as their Guardian to give her a Kwagatama. She could now stop crying about having no guidance and making it everyone else's problem.
I mean, she could have already gotten guidance since season 4 if she had had any willingness to work WITH Suhan instead of only wanting to do whatever she pleases by breaking all rules and traditions and them complaining when that backfires, but oh well. My point is that now thanks to the Kwagatamas and especially Illustrhater, Marinette has no business acting like she has no one and nothing to ask for help and guidance as she still always does.
She has Alya, Luka, Nathalie, Suhan, and she absolutely has the option of putting in a bit of effort into connecting with Wayzz and the Turtle to be able to reach Fu again.
Marinette COULD do that. No one and nothing is stopping her, and if she were written to wanting to do it, she wouldn't tolerate anyone telling her "no" anyway.
Meaning this is yet another case where the logical conclusion is that Marinette isn't doing it because she knows Fu might very likely tell her something she absolutely doesn't wanna hear.
So she's just written to ignore the options and resources she has, to instead keep crying for compensation she doesn't need.
So she's just written to ignore the options and resources she has, to instead keep crying for compensation she doesn't need.
This.
This is one of the biggest problems in Marinette's writing. She has at her fingertips an almost entirely full Miracle Box, Su-han, The Order of Guardians and their Miracle boxes (presumably, judging by Su-han even if they refused at first one harsh word would have them fall into line), contacts with her world's Justice League equivalent, a supergenius who created a sentient AI before graduation, and more. Much, much more.
And yet she uses none of it.
Memory-Fu is but the tip of the iceberg. Sure, there's the angle of the disappointed mentor to consider, but there's also the fact that Marinette as a protagonist is fundamentally devoid of any semblance of proactivity. She has a wealth of resources and potential ways to improve her life, to try and defeat The Butterfly, but the show isn't interested in that so she uses none of them.
It's like she's self-sabotaging, or so selectively incompetent that the only sane conclusion from an-universe perspective would be that she doesn't want to stop The Butterfly.
Fuck it I'm making a list of stuff she could use to make her job easier. Going from season 4 just to give her peak access
She could us the Rooster. The rooster gives any power bar one a miraculous has. She could just use it to track down whoever has the butterfly. I mean, the Guardians did the same thing with staffs but for miracle boxes.
Max has created a robot with a fully sentient AI which in itself is a supergenius. If anyone could track down the Butterfly its those two.
The previously mentioned Fu Kwagatama now that OP mentioned it.
She could have gone after Felix and just force the truth of who Hawkmoth is. I mean, it's not guaranteed from her perspective but since he was able to trade with Hawkmoth its likely he knows who HM was.
She could use the Lucky Charm to make a gun and shoot Lila with it saving us all from season 6 and beyond
Pull a reverse new york and have the NY heroes help raid Paris for Hawkmoth. I mean, doorman can open doors to anywhere without even knowing there's a door on the other side, imagine if he just wanted to open Hawmoth's door and they get Gabriel's house. Doorman Op
And yet Marinette still complains she can't do anything. She can, she just doesn't want to.
No but this is like. UNPRECEDENTED insane.
Over 1000 fics for a noncanon femslash poly ship, for a movie that a) already has a canon het romance and b) has only existed for A MONTH.
Kpop Demon Hunters is a coded story about a bi girl being led astray by her sketchy male boyfriend but eventually realises that her girlfriends matter more so she forms a polycule with them with the power of magic singing. They literally end up all naked in a bathhouse together by the end of the film.
If there wasn’t at least 1 polycule fanfic about them I would be concerned.
You know what? I'm curious. Was it meaningful to you guys that Huntr/x was conventionally feminine?
I didn't really mention this in my post about them as heroine archetypes, but Huntr/x also avoids the trend of heroines being less feminine in general
They like romance, fashion, looking at hot guys, spa days, etc.
There is a recurring trend of strong women being expected to give up traditionally girly interests to be considered "empowered." Most commonly, it's that they can't be independent and want a boyfriend at the same time. And less common, but still happens is that they need to have more masculine interests than feminine interests because those are considered more "respectable" or whatever
Did you guys notice and/or appreciate that the Huntr/x members were allowed to be very feminine without those interests being treated as a negative to their strength?
To an extent yes, but I am more on the stance that its meaningful that the movie as a whole was not an arguement about gender.
Given that its a movie set during/after a period where "strong woman" movies dominated cinemas, it's very possible that the idea that an all-female kpop group vs an all-male kpop group would end up becoming a metaphor for "men vs women in X-job" and become a message about "empowerment" (not to say its a bad thing at all but its a message that has become very saturated in today's filmography when it involves a female protagonist)
But thankfully it never does. It never shies away from the conflict between Huntr/x and the Saja Boys but gender is never the focus of why the two groups are fighting.
Why are the Huntr/x so cool and strong? They trained to be demon hunters as well as be pop stars as part of a group that goes back 400 years. Why are they good guys? Because they fight demons who want to eat human souls.
Why do they hate the Saja Boys? They are demons.
Why are the Saja Boys evil? They want to break the Honmoon and eat souls, simple.
Even their insults to one another are more to do with the fact that they are both rivals in the Kpop Industry as well as being mortal enemies.
To have a "boy vs girl" movie where the message isn't about proving one gender's superiority over the other is actually refreshing. The Huntr/x never have to constantly prove they are strong because they just ARE. The Saja Boys are never decipted evil because of their gender but because of their character. It's nice to have a film where "good vs evil" just remains that, with no other implications involved.
