Reblog if you think the person you reblogged this from deserves to be happy.
Just a casual reminder that posting on the internet about how you would want to do physical harm to members of the US government is something that they can (and will) detain you over, so just be careful what you say in public spaces like, uh, on Tumblr.
I have got bad news for you about how connecting to the internet works and how corporations will respond to requests from the government.
this is your semi-regular reminder that tumblr has cooperated with the fbi to hand over user information in a very public way at least once. and that's not the only way the feds can collect information on you either
I'm already fucken dead what's the worst thing they can do besides kill me...leave me alive and dealing with this bull shit
Well, here are the two new holders from the rewrite!
Chloé Bourgeois:
She is really changed in this au, because I'm part of the "Team We Stand Queen Bee". So yeah, she IS redeemed and keeps the bee miraculous.
In this version, she is secretly otaku (not because I do like Princess Tutu and I thought "yeah, Chloe would love it, wink wink), which derivatives her to cosplay, and since she isn't going to use all of her money to get all of the outfits, she uses some good ol' reliable fashion designer skills to make them. Besides that, she doesn't know what to do with her future.
Here she isn't naturally blonde, she has brown hair, but dyes it to make it resemble her mother's, which in her logic, will make her more pretty for her.
In school she is indeed a mean girl with no friends besides Sabrina, which will leave her alone at one point. She only does have Adrien, and even him does leave her alone for a bit of time.
In class she is good at math, just to explain why she has talent designing clothes.
She does love milk, but hates bananas, specifically the cold ones. Disgusting, utterly disgusting!
In this case she does have the bee miraculous by accident too just as Style Queen established, just with the difference that was premeditated, and Ladybug loses it by trying to give it to Alya for the mission. She finds it while she leaves the Eiffel Tower and does keep it. Initially she was going to be careful, but guess what? Audrey is a bitch and made her feel like a hindrance in her life (in this case Marinette wasn't going to be her promise as a fashion designer, she does compare her with Chloé to say that "a Chinese person is better than you, Choline"... Yeah.
So happens all of the Queen Wasp episode, then Malediktator shows up kinda different (here Chloé doesn't go to school because of how the school kids use her actions to bully her, except for Marinette and Adrien, and André feels frustrated by his wife, whichever made him akumatized), and Ladybug does have to give Chloé her Miraculous to save her father, and since she proved she was a holder indeed, she becomes Queen Bee officially and there starts to change for the better.
This made her kinda the Queen Bee fan she is in canon, except that she keeps the secret and does have her secret fanatic side on Ladybug.
And then Zoé Lee:
Zoé does have a lot of changes here too, I thought she could be less "Y/N" and more original, so I did established a concept on her.
Since in canon she wants to be an actress... Here, she IS a child actress. Which made her the second childhood friend of Adrien. This is because she was in a lot of leading roles with him in a lot of productions, at the point that there's a ship between them. Canon? Nope dear, she is lesbian.
Since she was little had a bad relationship with Chloé, her stepsister, because of her mother, Audrey. She literally wasn't subtle with the favoritism and preferred her a lot. Which made Chloé jealous. This made them rivals at the point that both posted her hate on socials.
Unlike her sister, she does have her otaku side open, at the point that the fans know which anime is her favorite: Kilari Revolution.
Alongside canon, she is interested in a girl. At start she does have a crush on Marinette, but gives up as soon as realizes she is in love with Adrien. And then she likes Alix, which isn't reciprocated too since she is aromantic.
And lastly, her hero side.
Listen: Vesperia is not canon here. But I did wanted her as a miraculous holder, so I thought which miraculous I should give her instead.
So I remembered Sabrina wasn't going to be a holder here (or at least, didn't destined to hold her canon miraculous), so I gave Zoé the dog miraculous. And there is Chasseurette. She does like being a heroine because she feels more free of cameras, and does like Ladybug and Chat Noir too.
So, here are both of our girls! Hope you like it! Sooner will be more! ;)

I love how you draw barkk!
Me and @juviaenochian OC's! Glad u like it.

Also hi!
fans after chat blanc: wow, so Gabriel didn't hesitate to physically abuse Adrien at all. This is proof that Gabriel, at least in one timeline, has engaged in an instance of physical abuse
ML writers: this is Felix and he's a REAL abuse survivor!! See how we confirm that he is physically abused in THIS timeline? Yeah. That's because Gabriel WASN'T abusive (see Thomas Astruc's Twitter for more information uwu). You can't claim we're abuse apologists anymore!! Adrien was simply not abused!! Look at Felix! He was abused!! Take that!!
fans: ... anyway, one instance of physical abuse without hesitation, when paired with his emotional abuse, implies there could have been a pattern of physically abusive behavior
That wasnât abusive, Gabriel was under extreme emotional stress and it is not his usual behaviour at allâ That Guy (probably)

Will never approve Plagg wantin to cataclysm Chloe over Zoe.
Ever.
Will never approve Zoe having the cat miraculous and being important despite not actually doin shit to earn it and get anyone to care about her.
I hate how this shows message is. If you have shitty parents, you ALWAYS have to be nice and if you arent youre the literal devil, and worse than actual abusive parents fuck you.
I still can't believe they let Plagg of all kawmis say that...
https://www.tumblr.com/erisluna35/817263282643714048/httpswwwtumblrcomerisluna3581723540885854617
the show is like "name someone who's suffered more than her" and put up a pic of zoe and anyone with common sense would just reply with chloe's picture
Bet. Think about it, both were/are bullies but which one of them has to keep dealing with her victims, especially now that they've grown a spine and fight back on her? Which one of them gives a nothingburger of an apology for her past as a bully to a bunch of people she never really bullied while the other can be doing nothing malicious for a change and still gets mocked or is faced with judgement (both justified and not, seriously)? While both have used the bee miraculous to cause harm, which one of them can at least say they were manipulated by an adult (mostly Gabriel) during vulnerable times involving their parents? This is why Zoe gives me the ick. Anything I can say about her highlights something about Chloe that deserved to be treated with nuance but isn't. The annoying part is the show acts like Zoe is the better person cause she came out "good" despite coming from the same place when their situations are different. If Chloe ain't justified to almost crash a train believing she could save everyone or for siding with Hawkmoth after he meticulously planned for her to be in a vulnerable position knowing who she is, then Zoe sure as fuck ain't justified for her "Fury" era which I highly doubt will be addressed in the new episode.
You are an adventurer in a generic fantasy world and you use this weapon!
Do you like it?

I know youâre more of an âAdrien centeredâ criticism/defense blog but I am curious about your opinion on this.
What is your opinion on the âChloe deserves/doesnât deserve redemptionâ situation or the âChloe wasnât meant to be redeemed and there for what happened to her is fair gameâ stance?
---
My thoughts on the ChloĂ© situation are kinda complex. Back when the show only had three seasons, I did think ChloĂ©âs character trajectory made sense. Sure, sheâd saved people when she was acting as Queen Bee, but she still treated her classmates the same. In fact, she started treating Sabrina worse than before because she considered being anything other than Queen Bee hanging out with Ladybug was slumming it. For me, it really was a 50/50 on whether or not ChloĂ© would be redeemed or fall into actual villainy.
Because, hereâs how I saw it: I didnât think ChloĂ© was an actual villain-villain in seasons 1-3. She was Marinetteâs school nemesis and a decidedly defanged one. Marinette was scared of her exactly once, in Origins, a flashback episode meant to showcase how much more confident being Ladybug has made Marinette that she views ChloĂ© as small potatoes. The season 3 finale could have been the culmination of an arc where Marinette accidentally causes ChloĂ© to become a villain and ally herself with Hawk Moth in the future.
And it would have been caused by Marinette, even if unintentionally. It would have shown how good intentions can have unforeseen consequences, especially when you donât know what youâre helping someone with or what they want before you do so. Marinette doesnât really understand what sheâs trying to help people with whenever she does try to be helpful, because she assumes what they want and need instead of asking and listening (like in Reflekdoll, the latter part of Ikari Gozen and Quilt Trip). Many heroes create their own villains this way, and Marinette could have done so as well since she was the one to strengthen ChloĂ©âs bond with the person who taught her to be an entitled bully and then she dragged her feet on whether or not she could use the Bee Miraculous.
The season 3 finale shows ChloĂ© brought to a new low. The following New York Special gives us a glimpse of a ChloĂ© who is withdrawn, like sheâs reconsidering her life. This could have led to ChloĂ© deciding that she would have revenge on Ladybug for leading her on and then dumping her (as a teammate). But, it could have also have led to ChloĂ© realizing that, while Ladybug wasnât her friend, Sabrina was, and she pushed the latter away in pursuit of being the Bee Miraculous holder. ChloĂ© could have gained new insight that would have led her to start working on how she treats those closest to her, finally starting to treat her schoolmates with decency and, maybe, with time, kindness.
Then season 4 came along and all that foreshadowed introspection was dumped out the window in favor of having ChloĂ© do cartoonishly stupid school antagonist character things. In season 4, where this kind of hijinks are so incredibly low-stakes that itâs both laughable to see, and laughable to realize the writers think this is good television.
I think the writers realized this too, because then comes season 5 with the retcon that, actually, ChloĂ© is an evil mastermind who is so heinous that she orchestrated a traumatic event that led to Marintetteâs character flaws and therefore Marinette should be forgiven for her flaws and ChloĂ© blamed for them. Never mind the damage this episode does to Kimâs character, turning him from an oblivious to jock to a total creep, it also tries to convince us that ChloĂ© is this big threat despite that it happened at least a year ago in-universe and that she had never done anything even close to this bad since. It just makes no sense when contrasting with the early seasons, where Marinette treats Kim as just one classmate among many and ChloĂ© as a low-threat nuisance.
The problem was that they decided that they didnât want Marinette to hold any responsibility for anything she does anymore. This is why they wrote the episode âDerisionâ, to absolve Marinette of all responsibility in her stalking of Adrien, even though them making it a serious trauma response instead of a cartoon-logic joke means that now she absolutely should take responsibility for her behavior and get therapy. Because they wanted to give Marinette a retroactive justification, the episode just doesnât mesh with the rest of the show. But, like, the writing in Miraculous seasons 4-5 is so bad itâs of course never just about a single episode, itâs all about how the Miraculous writers donât know how to build up arcs that then come to a logical conclusion, which is why all their story arcsâ endings fall flat and leave viewers thinking âwhereâs the rest of it?â when theyâre not considered one of the worst finales for a show.
Basically, making ChloĂ© a villain could have worked, but it would have required her getting built up into such a status. The ChloĂ© of seasons 1-3 isnât a monster, sheâs a brat. But the writers didnât want to do that work despite wanting that story, thinking some repetitive episodes of ChloĂ© being a brat some more will accomplish the same thing. So, ChloĂ© just keeps performing petty bullying until the writers think the viewers forgot that sheâs like this because of her mother, who Marinette reunited her with, all the while pretending the woman who calls her by the wrong name to her face on purpose has done nothing wrong as a parent other than âleaveâ, before she randomly turns on Miss Bustier and starts working with Hawk Moth for supposedly no reason in Collusion.
And, like, the thing that really grinds my gears is that it worked. So many people forgot that ChloĂ©âs bullying was modeled to her by her mother, who Marinette reunited her with. Marinette repeatedly tries to fix abused kidsâ relationships to their parents with no regard for how that could harm them in the long run (Adrien, ChloĂ© and Kagami). Itâs a pattern, but the show thinks Marinetteâs missteps shouldnât be pointed out because she âhad good intentionsâ when her intentions in the instances of The Bubbler, Style Queen and Ikari Gozen were nothing more than: âWell, my parents are great, so these kids are obviously safe with the parents I just saw make them miserable!â The accusing finger for ChloĂ©âs behavior should be pointed at Audrey. Marinette being âtriumphantâ over ChloĂ© because ChloĂ© is now stuck with the abuser who made her is already iffy without the added grossness of Marinette being the one who reunited them in the first place.
They didn't so much forget as tried to latch on to something that made since
I made a chart for my Adrien Kwami swap art, and I'm sharing it with you guys:
Since there are 19 miraculous in the Chinese Miraculous Box, I opted to go for a 9 box chart, since I won't be including Chat Noir, meaning I only need 18 spaces (also it's just easier to divide).
I considered adding text and sharing the two charts, but I figured leaving the chart blank makes it easier for you to decide what kwami swaps you're doing.
Like maybe you don't want to do one character with different miraculous, but rather one miraculous with different characters. So instead of say, Alya with different miraculous, you choose nine different characters to use the bee miraculous.
Feel free to use the chart (I included a transparent version as well as the one with a white bg), you don't have to tag me (but feel free to tag me, I'd love to see your designs), just keep my name where it is :3

why are people so against negative character development? characters donât need to improve and become better people they can get worse and make mistakes and end up in a worse state than when they began and itâs just as interesting and entertaining as characters developing positively
Because negative character development is easy and pervasive. Itâs *boring*. Oh look I let go of a rock and it fell. Shocking. It is in fact possible to write an interesting story that contains someone going through it, but it requires taking the reader along a knife edge of will they-wonât they where both as so compelling and understandable the reader will be satisfied no matter which outcome happens. Most writers cannot pull it off and that loops back around to the boring element.
Or even more simple people just don't like it... makes em feel icky
THE PLAN! I donât ship it but I truly believe Chloe has a crush on LadybugÂ
