Fair warning that when I say I love anteaters, I mean I fucking LOVE anteaters. I scream with delight any time I accidentally happen upon one. They bring me more ecstatic joy than any drug ever could.

Also fair warning that I am also a furry. My fursona is an anteater, which is why that's relevant. I won't post about him as much as I'll reblog anteater stuff, but if it's not your cup of tea, don't say I didn't warn you. Posts specifically about Arlo will be under #Arlo T. Anteater.

I've just discovered there are multiple collective nouns for anteaters. I've seen Parade, Flock, Herd, someone even called it a Candle?? 🫪 My personal favorite is Parade :]

Watching a random 10 year old furry documentary I found and it's got a surprising amount of diversity for what I thought it would have for it's age. Old furries, young furries, furries with kids, furries who see it as a hobby, furries who tie it in with spiritual beliefs, furries who might be considered therian/otherkin today, furries with all sorts of wildly different jobs in and out of the fandom. It's pretty cool, actually, and I'm learning new stuff myself. Really enjoying it! :3 👍

I'll be posting art I feel like sharing on here. I'm gonna try to post a drawing of an animal with some mildly interesting nature fact with it on thursdays from now on. Starting with the Silky Anteater, the smallest anteater and only known extant genus in cyclopididae. They are fully arboreal and have a prehensile tail. I think adorably doofy looking.
