About halfway through the game, a couple of meters infront of you, stands a trembling and bloody teenager, desperately clinging onto a dagger and sobbing, trying to keep anyone and everything away from him.

Caleb ran towards the kid, his scars bleeding. "Are you okay alright?"

(OOC- says the man bleeding out of his death wounds:P)

"Don’t— please I don’t—" they managed between sobs, trying to back away from him.

"Kid. I'm not gonna hurt you. Can you just tell why you're scared? We can leave here if you want."

"I don’t—" she tripped over a tree root, which clearly didn’t help with the situation. Nevertheless he kept gripping onto the weapon, eyes fixed on the man.

"Nononono stay back…"

Caleb suddenly froze in realization what exactly was with the demigod. He didn't seem intimidated by the weapon.

"I won't do anything, but you really should check out those wounds."

(OOC - the image is his design, finally made it(first version wqs mega white-washed) and to explain the bleeding, his scars just loosened very old skin. Unfortunately there's also a lot of blood with that😔)

Everyone seems to step back, looking around for someone else to help. Loretta figures she might be of some assistance. She's got charmspeak which might help calm them down, or at least get them to drop the dagger if all else fails.

"Hey." She says, stepping forward, dropping her own dagger. "Can you tell me your name, kid?"

Arlo doesn’t reply, staring with teary eyes and his dagger pointing at her, hands shaking as she tried to look more threatening.

She raises her hands in surrender. "I'm not going to hurt you, okay? My names Loretta." She doesn't approach any closer, figuring he needs some space.

"Don’t— I can’t–" they choked out, dropping the weapon to the ground and taking a few unsure steps towards her.

"That's it. You're okay." She murmurs. She glares at a few campers, hoping they get the message to give them space.

when he spotted the boy he gripped his coiled, bloodstained blade, holding it towards him.

“Who- who are you…”

Her arm stayed out, shaking as he tried to keep his guard up. They tried to speak, her voice coming out as more of a cry than words.

His gaze softened, and he lowered his weapon.

“hey….i-it’s okay, Kid….”

Kylo slowly approached, lowering himself to be at the same level as her

Arlo hesitantly dropped the dagger, letting him come closer, though the look in their eyes was still like that of a cornered animal.

Kylo dropped his weapon as well, a sign of mercy.

“It’s alright, buddy…”

he gently guided the kid to sit down on the soft grass, making sure they didn’t fall.

“there you go…”

Kylo sat next to him, looking concerned as well

He approaches, dodging attacks to get close to Arlo.

"You are a mess." He remarks, but sighs, aiding Arlo in keeping people at bay. "C'mon. Stop crying so much, and let's get out of the open. Go somewhere quieter or whatever."

Why the hell are you helping such a liability? He thinks, but pushes the thought aside for now. It's easier to play the role of the uncaring idiot when he's not questioning his motives.

"Mhm" they squeaked, not knowing exactly what he had said but for some reason following him.

He walks ahead, sword gripped tight with his head tilted slightly. The sunlight slowly dims as the trees get denser and the canopy thickens.

"Here's good." He says, sitting at the base of a tree and planting his palm on the ground, causing some strawberries to grow, eating one himself. "...Want a strawberry?"

She sits down nearby, shaking his head at the question and hiding their face with their arms, knees tucked up to his chest.

I’m dead, I’m imagining this. Just hide and it’ll be okay. And stop with the fucking crying.

"More for me then." He shrugs, picking the last of the strawberries from the plant and looking up at Arlo to study her.

"So, what's up with you?" Lucas asks bluntly, raising an eyebrow. "Crying cause of a few scrapes? Or something deeper than that? Mm?"

They glance up, frowning a bit at him before putting their head back down for a moment, taking a deep breath then looking right at him.

"who the hell are you nd where the fuck are we?" she asks, voice breaking a little but still looking pissed, as if willing to fight if necessary.

Truth be told, she wasn't sure why he was so upset, and honestly hadn't even made out the question.

"Okay, don't answer me. Whatever." He says under his breath, then looks at Arlo to answer her questions.

"I'm Lucas, and we are in the forest. At Camp Half-Blood. How don't you know that?" He leans his head back against the tree trunk. "Who're you? And are ya gonna say why you're crying or are you gonna stop, cause frankly, it's irritating."
