She only smiles in response to his suggestion. People always jumped like that when she decided to chime in. Itβs either how quite she was or the effect she had of disappearing and reappearing to people. Regardless she gave a small nod. Livia. She likes the name, like she liked most (if not all) the names the people around skyhold have given her.
βDo you have a preference on what kind? And maybe you should put that book down for a moment, you wonβt get any answers by staring holes into it.β
βiβve not a preference, no,β he answered, turning his attention back to the pages even as she suggests he put it down. the mage gives a faint laugh, an amused grin turning up his lips as he turns his attention to her.Β βi suppose youβve a point, there. though iβve yet to entirely stare holes into anything. that wouldΒ be a nice ability to have, though. it would work wonders on those who disagree with you, i imagine.β his gaze returns to the book for a moment, before he relents to her suggestion and shuts it, dropping the seemingly useless tome onto the table beside him.Β βiβll not get anything new from it if i read it half a dozen times in a row. unless you count mounting frustration.β
She gives a small nod and a curtsy before going to go get the tea as promised. It takes her only moments, as every request normally does. Sheβs quick, despite representing something that takes time - patience.
She brings the tray over to one of the free desks, though she does have to push a book or two out of the way to completely fit the tray. She pours a cup for Dorian and herself, taking the mage one first.Β βWhat were you reading about that frustrates you so?β She asks, grabbing her own small cup and taking a sip from it as she waited for an answer.
heroofgrymoire:
If she said it was okay then Lann would take her word for it. Heβd assume she knew what she was talking about, after all, she always had before with her explanations and what not. He puts his hand on one of the doors going to push it open nearly stopping in his action at theΒ βHoweverβ part. He walks partially outside a question already long past forming in his mind leaving the tip of his tongue.Β βWhyβs that?βΒ
With that, Lann steps completely out of her room into the brightness and colorfulness that is Nine Wood Hills. His attention is quickly drawn away from the scenery heβs used to seeing to her instead wondering if sheβd actually say anything at all in response. She tended to be very secretive, but heβs pretty sure there had to be some more specific reason as to why she had told him that right? There just had to be.Β
This was Tea Girl though, so Lann really wasnβt going to expect an answer or even pry for one. It would be a loosing battle to pry for answers from her. All he had to think was that it had to be for some good reason. So even though he had already questioned it, he steps away from the door, turning away from her acting like he hadnβt just asked. βGot it! Before sundown it is then! That should give us plenty of time to do all sorts of cool things!β
".....--β She hesitates on telling him the reason. Sheβs tied to this place, and to time and fantasy itself. Being away from it would take a tole on her body, it wasnβt like she was very strong to begin with anyways.Β βItβs just not a good idea.β She decided to say, or rather mumble. Some things could be kept secret for a while longer, yes?
Still, she felt bad for keeping a secret. Strange, really, she hadnβt felt this way with the mountain of other things she couldnβt tell either of the twins. Maybe it was because Lann normally didnβt ask questions. Maybe. The way he brushed off the question and answer brought a small smile to her face. At least he wasnβt going to pry, like his sister might have.Β
She grips at her dress for a moment before following the twin through her doors. She could almost feel her room protesting, but it didnβt matter. She does have to cover her eyes with her arm for a moment when stepping out - when was the last time she had to face the full force of sunlight? She took a moment for her eyes to adjust before lowering her arm and making sure the doors to her room were closed.
βIβm in your capable hands then, Lann.β She said, stepping up beside him.Β βWhere do you suggest we go first?β
farnagal:
βGrymoire isβ¦ doing better.βΒ
Which was more than she could say before the Cogna had come. Sure it had taken 100 years and a ton of bogus prophecies for it to heal the first time the Ultima Gate was opened, but thankfully it hadnβt taken that long this time. More like the matter of a couple of days, weeks maybe. It was just a good thing the League was as capable as it was. She hated to think about how Grymoireβd be if it werenβt for the League. Would there even be a Grymoire? Would there have been people to pick up the pieces she and Lann and the Exnine Knights had left lying around?
βSorry. Thatβs really vague, but it is doing better. The places that had been taken over by the Cogna are recovering and the wounds we left behind are healing. It almost feelsβ¦β She shifts in her seat and looks off into the expensive distance that lay beyond them and the girlβs kitchen.Β βIt feelsβ¦ like Grymoireβs lighter somehow, yβknow? Like allβs right with the world.β
βVague is fine. Iβm sure itβs difficult to explain.β The girl said with a small nod, taking a small bite out of the cookie she had. She quickly finished it and reached for another. Grymoire had been through so much the last few years (or had it been longer? The concept of days, weeks, years, got a little lost in this room of hers).Β
βLighter?β She echoed, tilting her head as she took another bite out of a cookie. Hmmm....maybe thatβs the feeling she felt aswell. After all, helping the twins with all those interventions had put a little bit of its own weight on her - not that she would ever admit it.Β βYes, I think I know what you mean. And now we all have time for a little break.β She said, finally picking up her tea again to take a sip.Β βHave you allowed yourself to properly rest after everything, Reynn?β

βYes, Iβve helped them. Itβs my job.β Abit vague, per usual. No matter how much she might have known about the summoner before hand, she wasnβt going to start spilling everything right away. Maybe sheβd be willing to talk about it over a cup of tea.
βThank you?β She repeats the words, tilting her head curiously. No oneβ¦β¦she doesnβt even remember the twins ever saying those words. It was nice. A soft giggle leaves her as she gives a small nod.Β βIt was no trouble, really. Like I said, itβs my job.β
ββ¦itβs yourβ¦job to help them? or just to help people like them in general?β this girl was strangeβ¦did lann and reynn already know? of course they probably did, theyβd had more experience with her!Β βiβ¦yes. thank you,β hauyn echoed, thinking maybe the girl hadnβt understood. (what else was she supposed to think with the inquiry, the tilt of her head?) the laugh wasnβt quite what she expected, and she blinked a couple times at the response she received.
βiβ¦that doesnβt mean you shouldnβt be thanked,β she protested, her head shaking.Β βlann and reynn can be really difficult to work with sometimesβ¦.lann seems to not know anything half the time and the other half, reynnβs asking a million questions. it definitely canβt have been easy, but you did itβ¦.so thank you. for helping them and for being patient. it doesnβt matter if itβs your job. you helped them help so many people. from what i understand from reynn, you helped fix everything so this all is possibleβ¦.β
βIβm not used to receiving thanks, so Iβll admit this puts me in an odd position.β The girl hummed, rocking back and forth on her heels for a moment. Well she was definitely right, Reynn asked too many questions and Lann was...was something else.
When the subject ofΒ βfixing everythingβ came up, the Girl nodded.Β βYes, I suppose I didΒ βfix everythingβ to an extent. But the twins did the heavy lifting, so to speak.β She said, flattening out the wrinkles in her dress absentmindedly.Β βYouβve done a lot yourself, so Iβve seen. We all have a role we must play, and youβve done well to help them aswell. So tell me, has anyone thanked you yet? I believe you deserve it.β
heroofgrymoire:
Nothing to do but reflect? Truth be told he had always wondered about that. What she did during the day when guests werenβt around. Based on her little comment it sounded like not too much. How was she not bored out of her skull? Or was she? βDoesnβt that bother you?β Honestly, being able to do nothing but reflect on things would drive him mad.
βHuh?β Lann gawks at her like she had just grown a third eye. She had a request? For him? When he hears what her request is the surprise he feels intensifies. He canβt even form any type of sentence right away instead stuttering and spluttering half formed words for what seemed like two hours. βYou.. You want to go to Grymoire?!βΒ He pauses, thinking it over for one second before responding. βSure thing!β What harm could it possibly do? If anything he thinks itβll do more good than harm. She had been so spacey and acting ever weirder than normal, so perhaps leaving this room would help her out.
Without a second thought, he nods his head walking off towards the white set of doors in the room. He stops abruptly before reaching them turning his head to look at her. βIs it alright for you to go through the gate?β
He seemed just as surprised that she asked as she did. She didnβt go outside often, barely at all really! Still, it was good to get a glimpse of the world she took care of from a different perspective every now and then. Perhaps she would learn something that she wasnβt aware of before, or learn something more about Lann. He had always interested her, if nothing else.
She got up from her table, straightening out her dress before starting to follow slowly behind, and thankfully not to close so she wasnβt in danger of running into him as he suddenly stopped. The question was a valid one, and she gave a nod before speaking.Β βYes, itβs fine for me.β
Thereβs a brief pause before she continued.Β βHowever I should only be outside of my room for a few hours. I would suppose maybe sundown in most of Grymoire would be my limit, then I must get back here.β It was spoken casually, but thereβs almost a different tone to her voice, a more serious undertone buried under her heavy monotone sounding voice. It would be bad if she didnβt get back in time.

βYou donβt know how to dance?β The Girl tapped her chin, tilting her head slightly. She shouldnβt be surprised, honestly. She didnβt know until not that long ago, when she asked Josephine about it. The adviser had been eager to help her learn, even if it was just the basics.
βDo you want me to teach you?β
βshould i?β her inquiry is met with one of his own, his head tipping a faint bit to the side. did boys his age typically know how to dance? not that he was anything like them, everyone here would admit it.Β he ponders her next question for a long moment, gaze flicking almost distractedly around the room (so many thoughts to keep track of, so many feelings; it made it hard to think about answers).Β ββ¦should i learn? is it important?β
βIn some situations, it could be important. Like if you were ever to go to a big fancy party. At least, thatβs what Josephine said.β She hummed, her fingers locking in front of her. Was itΒ βimportantβ, to that she would personally answer maybe. It was certainly useful for some situations according to the adviser.Β
βBut I also like to think itβs fun. You shouldnβt learn something you donβt think is interesting or fun. So it is ultimately, up to you.β

βIn the end, only you can decide whatβs best for yourself, Mr. Cullen.βΒ βHopeβ spoke as she clasps her arms in front of herself. Thereβs a beat of silence before she speaks again.Β βYouβve chosen probably the most difficult path, but you chose it yourself. You should take pride in that. Not many who were like you could do the same.β
Thereβs another bit of silence, one of her hands raising to let her fingers tap against her chin for a moment. She normally didnβt give her personal opinion so openly. Sheβd give hints at it, but never outright said what she thought. Maybe....Maybe she could make an exception this time.
βPersonally -β She said, stepping up to Cullen and taking his large hand with her two very small, fragile, ones.Β βI think youβre making the right decision, and should you need to be reminded of that any time, you need only to call for me.β She looked up at the commander with a faint smile.

βThank you for helping the children.β Even if she couldnβt say those words in the real realm in person there wasnβt anything from preventing her from saying them in something like a dream. Being trapped in that body made it hard to do so, but she still wanted to express her gratitude. βI am glad they have been able to grow so much. I try to watch over them to the best of my ability, but you see it is a hard task to accomplish.β There were only short periods of time when she could regain some control. Thatβs why she knew this encounter must have happened thanks to the power of someone else and not just her own will alone. As for how she had known this girl had helped her children? Well, one might just call it Motherβs intuition.Β
This was the place that dreams and time touch. So it actually doesnβt surprise her when the woman suddenly appears like this. Whether she was asleep or not, the realm of dreams surrounded her.
It does her a moment to realize who the woman was speaking of - but then again it wasnβt like the Girl knew too many people.Β βItβs my job, after all.β She answers simply, clasping her hands in front of her. She tilts her head slightly, looking over the spiritual form of the other for a moment before she speaks again.Β βYes, I suppose it would be difficult in your position. Iβm sorry that I can do nothing to help you.β Even her powers had limits, after all.

It wasnβt often she left her room. But when she did it was like a breath of fresh air. Though she has no idea where sheβs ended up now. Her doors like to appear in random places, she was used to that. Even if some places were dark, strange, full of danger, she was happy for the change of scenery.
She wouldnβt completely leave her room just yet though, she would peak part of her body out of the door, looking around to make sure there wasnβt anything that would instantly try to eat her. She hummed as she didnβt see anything, deciding it might be safe to step just a little further out.
The Girl does just that, but is still standing not even a foot away from the doors, taking a better look around. Thatβs when she sees a familiar shade of red. She follows it up to meet a face, and a faint smile came onto her lips. βOh! Hello again.βΒ
Itβs just another weekend in Kalm, where the inns are bustling and the streets do justice to the townβs name. A year has passed since the end of the Deepground Uprising. With the Planetβs populace slowly regaining its energy, thereβs little to no danger out there, in any level higher than purely corporate.
Imagine Vincentβs surprise when the girl whoβs long forgotten her name shows up right in front of him, less than aware of her surroundings. Still, the gunman in red doesnβt flinchβrather, he welcomes the girl with a light wave of his hand.
βFinally decided to get some fresh air?β
She takes the wave of his hand as an invitation to step closer. The Girl glances back at her doors before doing just that, stepping forward and closer to the other, eventually standing by his side.Β βFresh air? Hm, maybe.β She said, clasping her hands behind her back.Β
βBut also my doors decided they wanted to travel today. They have a bit of a mind of their own.β Thereβs a soft giggle as she shifts weight from her heels to her toes for a few moments.Β βYou could say itβs fate, for us to see eachother again thanks to my doors choosing this place of all places.β

Going out of her room for the first time with maqui would be one. It was one of the first times she saw a world that wasnβt Grymoire, and probably the first time bothered to grab her hand and pull her somewhere.
Send β‘ for a friendship headcanon.
Friendship is still a new concept to the Girl. She normally has to be told by another person that theyβre friends for her to really consider it. She has a hard time understanding what makes a friend a friend, is it just someone you know or something more? For her; is it someone who just comes to use her powers or actually stays to talk to her? She thinks itβs overwhelming complicated, trying to decide what aΒ βfriendβ really is, but when someone tells her that theyβre friends, it always makes her happy.
Send β for a talent headcanon.
The girl dances on a normal basis, when sheβs alone in her room. Sheβs fairly good at it, or at least she thinks so and hasnβt had anything to compare it to. However she is rather shy when it comes to showing other people she can dance, as sheβs been alone for so long and no one has really see her dance before. She also incorporates dancing into the rituals she preforms (example, the one to bring tama back), which might be another reason she asked reynn and lann to leave while she was preforming it.
the Girl is the one who taught Tama how to use her rewind time powers and no one can convince me otherwise
