Today’s Yugioh Card of The Day is

Gem-Knight Topaz

A Gem for that special duelist in your life, to OTK them. This monster can only be Fusion summoned using Gem-Knight Tourmaline and another Gem-Knight monster. This monster has the ability to attack twice each battle phase, and that’s not all, when it destroys your opponent’s monster by battle you can inflict damage to them equal to the attack of the destroyed monster in the graveyard! A fierce effect though the attack it has can’t back it up too much all on its own. So what I advise is to use cards such as Particle Fusion, using Tourmaline and Gem-Knight Zirconia as materials then using Particle Fusion’s effect you can add Zirconia’s attack onto Topaz’ and go for potential OTKs. Cards like Armory Arm can inflict double the effect damage or enhancements from Fairy Meteor Crush, Strike Slash or Big Bang Shot can help to inflict piercing damage on defense monsters and Fusion Weapon can increase attack power overall. If Topaz finds itself in the graveyard and you are able to fusion summon Gem-Knight Master Diamond then banish Topaz and have Diamond take over with more attack power and with the borrowed effect from Topaz. Try it out and get your opportunity to shine bright on the battle field my future pros~

Reinforcement of The Army

Today’s card has recently been limited down to 1 per deck in the upcoming banlist so I had to honour our fallen comrade. When you activate this card you can go ahead and add 1 Level 4 or lower Warrior Type monster from your deck to your hand. It’s a staple card for any warrior based deck to add consistency, combo it with The Warrior Returning Alive to recycle any used Warrior monsters from the graveyard and add em back to the hand. Don’t worry, it may be limited now but I’m confident you awesome Duelists out there will find a way~

Today’s Yugioh Card of The Day is

Pendulum Area In the age of Pendulums you can ensure your enemies are either playing by your rules or they’re gonna have a tough time facing you. You can only activate this card if you only control Pendulum monsters and two cards in your Pendulum Zones, destroy those two in your pendulum zones and for the rest of the turn neither player can special summon monsters except by Pendulum Summoning for the rest of the turn. It’s a nifty card to side-deck for Pendulum heavy decks like Igknights, Qliphorts, Zefras, Majespecters, or Odd-Eyes. With nice timing you’ll disrupt their strategy if you knew exactly what they were planning, just be sure you have back-up scales in your hand to replace the ones destroyed. Rule your duel and give em hell, this card might be your best friend in the right situations.

Today’s Yugioh Card of the Day is

Humpty Grumpty Umm, I guess sheer force of anger alone is enough to put yourself back together? I dunno man. Once per your turn you can go ahead and flip this egg to the face-down defense position, and when you flip summon it gains a whole 800 attack power boost, bringing its attack to 2200! It’s not a Ghostrick monster but its effect works the same as them so perhaps it can operate in the deck, especially when under the protection of Ghostrick Mansion. When it’s at 2200 attack it makes it useful for the trap card Deck Destruction Virus to disrupt a ton of your enemy’s strategy and rid them of their essential monsters. With a 1400 attack and 0 defense you can recycle it over and over with Recurring Nightmare and Dark Eruption as well, so make the best out of what this card can do during one of your spooky brand of dueling.

Today’s Yugioh Card of The Day is

Caam, Serenity of Gusto She’s a real beauty, everything about her is serene alright. Her effect is once per turn you can shuffle 2 Gusto monsters from your grave back into your deck, and after that you get to draw a card. Naturally she’s a staple for any Gusto deck build, letting you recycle your essential Gusto monsters such as the Tuners, and with the bonus draw you might gain even more of an upper hand by drawing into a trap or spell, her attack isn’t bad either. Being one of the few level 4s within the deck, use her to XYZ summon Daigusto Emeral or Lightning Chidori. Be sure not to use her effect if you plan to use other effects that require your Gustos being in the graveyard to be shuffled back, or make sure you don’t use it if there isn’t enough Gusto Tuners to activate Pilica, Descendant of Gusto’s effect, prioritize your effects. So give it a try and maybe your next duel will be a breeze.

Today’s Yugioh Card of The Day is

Malefic Parallel Gear

This card’s got some sinister uses despite it’s fragile appearance. When you use this monster in a Synchro summon you’re capable of using 1 Malefic monster straight from your hand.

If you’ve used Malefic decks before then this effect sounds all to familiar to you, using him you can summon your signature monsters like Malefic Paradox Dragon using Malefic Stardust Dragon or Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon that are in your hand. Although you aren’t just limited to just that, you’re capable of summoning other super strong Level 9 Synchro monsters such as Leo, The Keeper of The Sacred Tree, Dracoytos Corrupted Nethersoul Dragon, or Giganticastle (using Malefic Red-Eyes Black Dragon). Cards like DNA Surgery or D. Tribe can also be used to make this card capable of easily creating Trident Dragion. Getting all 3 copies from your deck is easy with Machine Duplication as this monster meets the requirements for its effect, and this’ll let you pull off 3 rad Synchro summons if your hand has those materials~ So get those gears turning in your head and win your next duel!

Spirtual Light Art - Hijiri

A card to use for any of your bright ideas during your duels, get it~? ....Anyhow. When you use this card you have to tribute a Light attribute monster and target 1 banished monster belonging to either player and special summon it, your opponent can reveal one trap card fro their hand to negate this effect however. In general a trap like this is useful in decks such as Hieratics, especially in collaboration with the effects of Hieratic Dragon of Asar. Light attribute monsters banished from the grave via The Fountain in The Sky can be recycled after recovering Life Points. In a Black Luster deck you can use Charging Gaia The Fierce Knight as the cost and special summon a banished Knight of The Beginning, this activates that Gaia’s effect which lets you add a Black Luster Soldier monster to your hand, then if possible you can Ritual Summon Black Luster Soldier - Super Soldier with Knight of The Beginning as one of the tributes, giving Super Soldier its devastating additional effects. Alternatively you can special summon any banished Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of The Beginning if any.

Even if your opponent negate this card’s effect, if the right monster was tributed then its deed is more or less done and you gain an insight on what’s in your enemy’s hand. Try to make sure not to make Light of this card~

Today’s Yugioh Card of The Day is

Hazy Pillar Activate this card and it remains face-up on the field, during then you can always normal summon Hazy Flame monsters for 1 less tribute than you need, also once per turn you can activate its other effect which lets you attach 1 Hazy Flame monster from your hand or field onto an XYZ monster you control. It’s a card just about Mandatory for any Hazy Flame deck as all monsters present in it are Level 6 monsters, so with it it allows you to normal summon them right away to abuse their effects and high attack power, and with the normal summon of Hazy Flame Peryton and its effect it’s possible to go into immediate Rank 6 XYZ plays. Its second effect is very useful for recharging XYZ monsters and building up the effects of Hazy Flame Basiltrice, making it more stronger and near invincible. This card’s packing some serious heat and bringing it onto the field, you’ll definitely be using it if you decide to try out this kind of deck.

Performapal La Panda

Perhaps there is such a thing as too cute after all~ This card’s massively adorable~ This card’s scale value is 3, when placed on the Pendulum Scales this card can increase its scale value by 1 once per turn. When played as a monster this card can negate the attack targeting one pendulum monster you control once per turn. This card’s scale value is fairly low so it will take some time for its scale value to rise above 6 or more, but you can always just place a Scale 7 or 8 allowing you to go for Pendulum Summons Level 4 to 6 or 7, or you can just activate your Pendulum Shift spell card to manipulate some Scales right then and there. Its monster effect can be useful for stopping attacks on your other Performpal pendulum or other pendulum monsters, even against attack powers that manage to get over that of Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon or when someone targets this monster itself for an attack. It’s a pretty good card to go into any Rank 3 XYZ summons as well, try and let this baby’s talent and potential shine bright in your next duel.

Today’s Yugioh Card of The Day is

Performage Trapeze Magician Giving a good duel means entertainment for you, your opponent and your audience and this card puts on more than enough of a good show~ You can only XYZ summon this monster with two Level 4 Spellcaster types. Whiles this card is active you take no damage that are lesser than or equal to the amount of this card’s attack power. You can detach an XYZ Material from this card during any player’s Main phase 1, target an attack position monster of a player whose turn it currently is, that monster is then capable of making 2 attacks for that turn, although it is destroyed at the end of the battle phase (you can’t target this card with it’s own effect). If it’s destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, or destroyed by an opponent’s card effect whiles in your possession and sent to the grave then you’re allowed to Special Summon a Performage monster from your deck. A card like this along with it’s whole archetype keeps you safe against Burn damage decks. It’s effect for double attacks can be used on opponent’s monsters and destroy them afterwards if you can guarantee your safety after doing so. You can also give it a go in Toon decks, using it’s double attack effect with Toon Masked Sorcerer or Toon Gemini Elf, allowing you to use their effects twice and their destruction can be negated via Toon Kingdom. Pendulum decks can use this effect too since Pendulum monsters can be resummoned via Pendulum summoning. A Devastating strategy would be to summon this card along with Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon. Target Absolute Dragon and then go for an attack, negate the attack and then special summon an Odd-Eyes monster in your graveyard, thus giving you even more powerful monsters to strike with. After the end phase Absolute dragon will be destroyed, thus triggering its effect which allows you to summon an Odd-Eyes monster from your extra deck. A Magician of wonderous performance and tons of potential for destroying your enemies~ Give it its time out on the stage~

Today’s Yugioh Card of The Day is

Urgent Tuning You can use this card only during either player’s battle phase, after you activate it you can perform a Synchro summon with the monsters you possess on the field. This card’s pretty nice for landing harder hits on your opponent by special summoning an extra and stronger monster. For example, after destroying an opponent’s monster with cards such as Flamvell Firedog, you can summon Flamvell Magician for an extra attack and/or activate this card to go for possible level 8 Synchros like Stardust Dragon or Red Dragon Archfiend. You can even use it during your opponent’s battle phase to screw them up by summoning say, Black Rose Dragon to destroy everything they currently control, leaving a potentially clear field for you to take advantage of when your turn comes. There are numerous ways to take advantage of this trap card, do your best in finding the ones that work for your dueling strategy future pros~

Today’s Yugioh Card of The Day is

Pop-up

If you’re from the era where fairy tales have inspired you then you’ll rather enjoy this Quick-play Spell card~ You can activate this card when only when your opponent controls a field spell and you do not, when you do you can activate a field spell of your own straight from your deck, this card’s effect can only be used once that turn though. It’s not exactly a card you generally run, however it’s a perfect card to side deck in when you duel against opponents who might also run field spells. It can be quite the advantage for decks reliant or semi-reliant on field spells like Gravekeepers or Toons, so you can easily gain Necrovalley or Toon Kingdom and disrupt your enemy’s strategies. Getting out Geartown, Ghostrick Mansion, Madolche Chateau, Future Vision or Secret Village of The Spellcaster right away during your opponent’s turn might really mess with them and their plans.  Hopefully you all find your own ways to creatively use this card, I can feel its potential~

Today’s Yugioh Card of The Day is

Odd-Eyes Saber Dragon The Odd-Eyes archetype makes it approach with even bigger and harder hitting cards from just about all categories of summoning.  Whiles this card is in your hand you can tribute up 1 Light Attribute monster then send an Odd-Eyes Dragon monster from your field, deck or hand to the grave, then special summon this flashy bastard. when he battles and destroys your opponent’s monster by battle and sends it down to the graveyard, you get to pop 1 other monster your opponent has. A card like this is fairly decent when it comes to fighting off decks that swarm. You can utilize it’s gracefulness well in Chaos decks since they involve tons of Light and Dark attributes. When you use it’s effect to special summon it it’ll put all the requirements for summoning Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning right down in the grave. Hieratic decks also get this big boy rolling easily onto the field, and if you run it Red-eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, you can go ahead and grab back that Odd-Eyes Dragon sitting in your grave. Other decks you might try this card out with can be Lightrays, Cyber Dragons or Lightsworns, the card is also compatible with very few cards within the X-Saber series. One last odd yet possible combo is using it in the Symphonic Warrior series, by using the effects of Symphonic Warrior Drumss and make it into a Light attribute, or use that effect in the grave to switch the attribute of another Symphonic Warrior on the field. So hopefully you use this card to the best of its abilities~ You might also see it’s premier in the anime soon~

Yeeah, I’m sorry about that, it really wasn’t intentional, I’ve just been handling some personal stuff for the past couple of weeks. I’ll get back to posting and queue some more cards soon enough I promise~
