Baffling how it didn't win an Oscar.
For relaxing times.
Back from Japan and feeling a sense of melancholy.
A wizard contemplates.
Purnell.
Storytelling aside, this season had some great cinematography especially during episode 2 and the final sequence of episode 8.
Sailor.

The Green Knight painting.
Well, this movie's as A24 as it gets. I think I enjoyed it? Still not entirely sure. I did love watching Sir Gawain grow as a knight and as a person so credit to Dev for pulling off that performance and nailing the character development. I liked the movie enough to do a painting so I guess there's that.
In celebration of Bleach's 20th Anniversary and Tite Kubo's latest one-shot!
Started with some pose studies but then felt like creating my own character and so here we are. Had a ton of fun with this, especially when trying out the different styles.
A portrait study of model Aneta Dolejšová.
Was watching Samurai Headhunters on TV and one of the segments included the Battle of Nagashino which inspired me to make this piece. Also wanted to try my hand at a graphic novel style.
Initially wanted to upload once a week but very busy at the moment so it'll be every 2 weeks which I guess is marginally better than my previous schedule of once every 6 months.
Also did a painted version of the scene.
Based off a neighbour having a smoke.
A Lovely Breeze.
Switched up my workflow, I now illustrate faster than before. Could probably dish out more original pieces like this one on the regular now!
A digital painting I did of Estella & Cruella from Disney's “Cruella (2021)”. Wanted to be a bit loose with the painting.
A few thoughts about the movie: I learnt more about Estella and the fashion industry than I did about Cruella! The movie didn't quite match up well with Cruella from 101 Dalmatians but the back and forth between Stone and Thompson was fun to watch. As a standalone movie, it's entertaining despite a few hiccups and Estella feeling more like the natural personality than Cruella. Just don't bother trying to tie it in with 101 Dalmatians.
