elanah is fluent in hebrew, english, french, and spanish.  her time in the army has granted her the ability to speak an influx of languages.

her husband cheated on her for all ten years of their marriage, he did not confess this to her until he was bitten, and she was forced to put a bullet in his head.

💋💎┇ avoidance has been the number one goal these past two days. she’s done so by keeping herself busier than the norm would call for, trying to make certain she’s never alone with the older woman. because she can’t be rejected, humiliated, && heartbroken if they never get a chance to talk about what she did right ? she must have had a miniature fit of insanity to be bold, BRAVE enough to do what she did.

what she normally would have never done. but elanah had looked so pretty and —- she’d kissed her, on the lips. in a fleeting moment of overwhelming emotion && bravery that immediately drained from her the very next second and sent her rushing away, awkwardly apologizing the whole time. if rhiannon’s feelings were solely based on physical attraction being potentially rejected would sting a lot less. it’s not as if she couldn’t find someone to fool around with if she wanted to. but it’s not just a physical attraction for her. which makes it ten times SCARIER.

she’s cleaning up the eating area, since everything else has been taken care of by all the other people here including herself. it probably doesn’t even really need to be CLEANED but again, she’s trying to avoid the leader of this group. the sound of a feminine voice with that adorable accent uttering her name however startles her && she yelps — which is embarrassing because she’s been trying to give off more of a tough, bad ass vibe. ❛❛  elanah ! — shit ! what do you want ? sorry i didn’t mean to say that like that. i just — uh … i’m almost done. ❜❜

ATTACHMENT IS SOMETHING SHE HAD AVOIDED LIKE THE PLAGUE, the mere idea of letting anyone in terrified her.  she had people to look after, she couldn’t take time to pursue anything with someone.  it reminded her of the world before, of the children she’d loved, the friends she had made, and the husband that had hurt her every night, she didn’t want to remember any of it.  ---  things had been awkward, and for two days elanah had been occupied with leading her people, and with dealing with a potential new threat.  fighting was what she knew best, anything else?  terrified her.  finding rhiannon had been relatively easy for her, she has to address this.  

she sets the gun down on the table, “i came to talk to you.”  she answers with ease, brows raised.  “your shift for the day is over, why are you still out here?”  she inquires, cocking her head to the side a bit.

she doesn’t know how to address this WITHOUT crushing the girl in front of her, she has too many trust issues, and very little hope in this world.  “what happened a few days ago, why did you do that?  i’m not here to shout at you, i am trying to understand why.”  she explains, accent heavier than usual.

THE GUN IS RAISED WITHOUT HESITATION, her gut telling her to pull the trigger and end his life.  “how did you find us?”  she asks, the base was supposed to be a secret, she didn’t get it, had one of her people fucked up on a run?  he was clearly armed, and he looked clean, that was definitely a WARNING SIGN.  “who are you?  and what do you want?  don’t make me ask twice, or else i will not hesitate to put a bullet in your skull.”
