i do not hate the show because it’s lestat. i was fully aware i would be watching a show about lestat. i hate it because it got weird and racist and misogynistic and frankly a bit transphobic. and the writing SUCKS, none of their conversations make much sense or really mean anything and no one seems to even listen to each other. the characters i knew for two seasons are barely there anymore. the characters they introduced (well, most of them) were boring and very strangely adapted from the books. also, hey, why is everyone so straight all the sudden?
