Spotify just jumpscared me with an album I have not thought about in who knows how many years. It’s “Snow Gas Bones” by Meow Meow. Both the album cover and the music are very creepy. But the freakiest part is I have no memories associated with this album. I cannot remember how I know this band, when I used to listen to this album, whether I owned the music or if it was in a Pandora playlist, what was going on in my life or going through my head as I listened to it. I’m listening to it now and I recognize the songs, but I can’t remember anything about them; I only remember them being creepy. The only clue I have is that I possibly listened to it at some point in 2013. I guess no one else here would be able to give me any more context lol but I just felt the need to share.

Am I wrong in thinking that people are constantly misusing the word “allegedly”??? I get the sense they don’t know what it means and just assume it will magically protect them from legal action.

I was watching a video that starts with “I have conclusive proof…” and later in the video they say that their own accusations are alleged. That’s like saying “it is rumored by me.” How does that protect you???
