New cryptid
Real rough fucking day. The closest I've been to quitting this job, just standing up, saying fuck it and walking out. So fucking frustrating being managed by idiots while surrounded by morons and fuckwits. Why am I doing so much work while others sit idle, why do I give a shit, I need to hold myself to a lower standard, just coast, check out and coast, hard work gets me nothing, extra work doesn't get me paid extra. I'm burnt out brother, real fucking burnt out.
“Quiet Bloom” Oil on a round canvas.
I painted this piece using an unusual approach—working in semi-darkness. With the light intentionally reduced, the colors naturally shifted toward cooler tones, creating an atmosphere I couldn’t have planned under bright lighting.
I love experimenting with different lighting conditions while painting. It changes the way the eye perceives color, teaches you to trust your intuition, and often reveals unexpected harmonies. The same painting can feel entirely different depending on the light that surrounds it.
There is something quietly beautiful about a pomegranate. From the outside, it seems reserved, almost silent. But once opened, it holds an entire universe of color, light, and hidden stories. Sometimes beauty asks us not to look harder—but simply to look differently.
