I’m back in my Star Wars Era (Watching Rebels again before seeing The Mando Movie) and honestly I’m still crying that Kanan’s interaction with the Bad Batch is what broke his trust in Clone’s while the Bad Batch rescuing Hera is what solidified her trust in them- 😭

Forgive me if this is out of character- but Resident Evil has a hold of me right now and there’s a severe lack of Platonic fic’s out there…so here’s a quick mini-blurb of a platonic Leon Kennedy & Sunshine!Reader that I’m wanting to work on…this is written specifically with RE: Requiem Leon in mind. Leon has a new partner—if you could even call her that.

A rookie. Fresh-faced. Far too innocent for this line of work. He imagines that the higher-up’s want him to pass his skills down to her, but that’s a task that seems nearly impossible looking at her…

He’s not sure where the DSO pulled her from. There’s a story there, he’s certain of it—but for now, she’s his problem.

And she’s… happy. Too happy.

All smiles and sunshine. Bright “good mornings” when she walks in, soft “good nights” to everyone on her way out—always the last to leave. Well. Almost always. Leon still beats her to that.

So far, he’s managed to avoid being assigned to the field with her. His job is hard enough without adding babysitting to the list, again.

He’ll admit it, if only to himself—he’s harder on her than he needs to be.

But he can’t look at her for too long.

She reminds him too much of who he used to be.

A rookie. Determined. Stupidly hopeful. Wanting to save everyone.

Raccoon City ripped that out of him.

The only question now is how long it’ll take for this job to do the same to her.

And yet—no matter how sharp his words are, how cold his tone gets—

She keeps smiling.

I finished my very first Resident Evil game- and honestly I’m just obsessed with my new favorite found family, Leon and his adopted daughters Grace and Emily. Those are his kids now. I don’t make the rules.

I already had a Vashling from Stampede, but I’ve never bought anything so quickly. So excited for all the little adventures to be had with the Starlings! 🥹 (Shipping and custom fees made me cry though- imagine all the donuts I could have bought with that money. 😭)

I actually hate they just casually drop that like half of the Targaryens are wiped out the spring after Baelor’s death from the Spring Sickness- like Valarr is just gone and haunting poor Duncan in his dreams alongside his father and Ser Arlan

I had to double back and reread the section because it’s just such a casual statement to drop- 😭

The overwhelming urge to create a Disney-styled end credits sequence for The Knight of the Seven Kingdoms featuring cute little mini-adventures of Dunc and Egg…please tell me I’m not the only one who can picture this. 😭

Something something Maekar always protecting his sons and loving them wholeheartedly despite any of their wrongdoings because those are HIS sons…something he learned from his big brother Baelor who loved him wholeheartedly despite any of his wrongdoings because that was HIS baby brother…that even before his own death inevitably caused by his own brother the last words ever spoken were of how proud he was of how strong his baby brother was. 🥺

I think what I love the most so far in AKOTSK is that even after Dunk learns that Egg is Aegon, he’s still just Egg to him. There’s no need for my fancy titles because Dunk knows that it’s just his little squire, his little brother. 🥹
