'05 Furby peet tutorial !

So I recently made my '05 some fuzzy peets and thought I'd share how!

Stand your Furb on some card and cut out an outline of his peets. You can be as exact or as rough as you desire! Then use this card to mark out the fur. (The arrows are the fur's direction!)

When you have four pieces (two bases and two tops), stitch them together, being sure it's all inside out. Be sure to leave a small gap (shown by the scissors) so you can turn it inside out when you're done, then sew that gap shut after. Careful not to catch the fur in the stitches!

Cut a slit in the top. This size might vary depending on the stretchiness of your material: think of it like the opening in your shoes, your Furb's feet will slide into it!

Slide the fluffy slippers on your boye! My gap didn't have to be too big to slide on. You can stitch it closed but this is fiddly and most likely unnecessary, they hold fine!

Once both feet are on, give them a trim if you like! Again, this isn't necessary, but it adds a firmer base for your Furb!

Optional again! Use some wool or thick thread to outline the toes. I used his real toes as a marker!

Messy but done! You can even add toe beans, claws; anything you want!

Caramel Latte shows he can still move about even with his new fuzzy peets!

Got a lot of McDonalds furbies and this was thrown in. Can’t find it anywhere online, any ideas of what it is? Tag had no leads

That’s a knockoff keychain! They come in a few more colors, and I’ve never seen one with the tag before. Those keychains seem to be more common in the UK than elsewhere from what I have noticed.

They were also sold as pens. There’s a version where they close their eyes when tilted and can speak like a Furby, and a version called Baby Pet where they can speak and have glowing red eyes. Sometimes, Baby Pet was packaged without a name.

REPLACING 1998 FURBY SPEAKERS

In my parts kit came some new replacement Speakers, which work for 1998 Furbies. So if your Furby is mute, or you want better sound you can get one of these!

This is a german one, but heres some requirements:

32 OHM MIRCO SPEAKER - 40mm

( TOP - OLD SPEAKER )

( BOTTOM - NEW SPEAKER )

This is how you solder the cables:

(This is another new speaker, already in the panel with the belly sensor, I assume the two grey cables are for the belly sensor)

((If the belly sensor already is wired then you just need to solder the cables for the speakers itself))

Massive update to my furby collection since my last post! (which technically still isn’t the full update considering I have 6 coming in the mail at the moment.) I also have an official furby backpack but I didn’t know where to put it. I have a little spot on my black shelf that has 3 work in progress furbies in it (along with 2 resin faceplates.)

I’m very happy with all of them and love them all very very much. It warms my heart. I’m so lucky to have them all, especially my kid cuisine and furbish. 💖💖🥺

The ones I have coming in the mail are a 2 custom furbies, a surpise furby, a coral baby, a namco plush, and a giant custom furby backpack! :)
