peace is not when everyone agrees. it is when we learn a level of selflessness that respects a difference in opinion. disagreement should be encouraged; thinking independently creates self reflection, discussion, and progression. but when we don’t allow independent thought, and attack those who disagree with us, we fuel a corrosive cycle of violence and hate. choose peace, selflessness, and unity.
