Eridian Grace is such a cute idea. I need to crown everyone who decided on a cute spiky lil scientist spider who crashes into everything. The idea of him using a tuning fork as “glasses” to hear better is fun but I keep thinking of how Grace always loses his glasses and wears them weird. I can’t spot picturing the tuning fork on top of his head bc he wanted to set it somewhere he wouldn’t forget and he’s confused he can’t find it. Eridian Grace tapping on the xenonite barrier asking Rocky if he could help find it. “If I find it first, promise you’ll go to sleep on time?” Rocky asks while he’s staring at it stuck perfectly on his spikes.

I don't understand why "Adrian doesn't like Grace at first" is as popular as it is on fanfics.

Imagine for a second you are Adrian surname The Eridian. Your spouse has been missing and presumed dead for around a decade, and suddenly one day an alien spaceship comes into orbit. And you cheer "Yay alien species have realized we have the same problem and have come to either give us a solution or join or efforts, too bad my mate is still gone."

Except he is not actually gone, because the eridian equivalent of a carebear decided to save them. And he doesn't want anything in return, in fact he is well aware that he might die A PAINFUL SLOW DEATH, shortly after fighting just to get the love of your life back to you. But it's ok :) because Rocky (yes he gave them a silly name) is my best friend! Oh- Are you ok-

You can’t tell me Grace doesn’t stim by repeating Rocky-isms or just in general speaking the way the computer translates Rocky’s speech.

Grace starts talking to himself like “Grace do science. Grace do science yes yes yes!” Or he starts doing Rocky’s jazz hands of happiness. Echoing Rocky’s spoken Eridian words. Even just putting “question” or “statement” at the end of his sentences.

The man’s echolalia would go haywire with Rocky and you can’t convince me otherwise

Definitely helps in his learning the Eridian language too

I think part of why I love the TD fandom and being in it sm is the fact that we can all agree that some of the writing is questionable at best

Compared to other fandoms at least in my experience this one takes canon way less seriously because of that. It makes things sm more fun!!
