Something I learned as an artist: my proudest pieces are ones that I know I can't erase. It's why I love sketching in biro. Something about knowing that if I mess up, I have to work with it, makes me want to try harder. I sketch with attention rather than making careless errors. It's something I can carry over to every day life.
