As bad as this looks, I can promise if feel way worse.
Clinical Depression hits different during quarantine.
The Ronies are ruining everything.
Also, wash your hands and stay home.
“Then one of him and her on the street, Hunt looking noticeably annoyed at having his photo taken, while she grinned obnoxiously.”
Page 624, ‘House of Earth And Blood’ by Sarah J Maas
Still struggling with both digital art & the knowledge that I won’t get another book with Hunt for a very long time.
Re-Upload with a better(?) background for the image overall. One of my favorite scenes from the book.
Have some WIPs. All started with a pencil sketch, these are first pass digital sketches on top. I’ll refine the lines once or twice before I do the lineart, especially where I need to check for outfits and put in specific stuff. I have a few that I’m trying to do without starting with a traditional sketch, but I’m having a time. Also, wings. Wings are hard.
Digital art is not my forte, but I’m really enjoying working on it through Crescent City.
Me: *Has all these scenes & ideas to draw* Also Me: *Starts with a unicorn that’s reminiscent of a s*x toy
Did I buy the physical book after reading the kindle version? Yes. Did I bascially read the book a second time while thumbnailing scenes I want to draw? Yes. Do I regret anything? Never.
Sorting out my rendition of Bryce before I jump into full illustrations. I feel like she's mostly there (as long as I can reign in my ink pen when I'm lining so her ears don't look quite so pointy lol) and I can't wait to get sketching and coloring.
I worked 31 hours over the last 3 days so I'm very happy to finally have time to get drawing. I have a long list of scenes/ideas I want to at least sketch out.
I haven't had such a strong urge to draw fan art since Deathly Hallows came out, but I finished House of Earth and Blood so... prepare yourselves.
