Everyone celebrated the end of the Empire.

Luke grieved.

For the father he found too late,

for the man no one else mourned,

for the good in him that only he was willing to believe in.

Saving the galaxy had cost him almost everyone he loved.

I hate the angle of Din’s face, but I couldn’t get it right… so now you have to deal with this sketch 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Used a Pinterest pose reference to draw that and then, naturally, never found it again. If this is your art: I owe you my life.

Meet John Reyes.

One half of this disaster duo.

Still my favorite personal DinLuke AU and probably the one I’ll never shut up about.

Also, this uniform nearly drove me insane.

Oh and here’s the speedpaint, because you all deserve to witness my suffering. 😌

In my personal favorite DinLuke AU (and the story I'm slowly plotting), there's a man named Frank who regularly gets drunk and ends up wandering around on the church roof. In broad daylight. Naked.

Naturally, John has to deal with it every single time.

Frank only trusts John.

And John likes to act like he's the only cop in Ashwood who actually has everything under control.

(He does.)

So yeah, FBI princess. That's very impressive. You've worked international cases, taken down the Sicilian mafia, and probably have twelve fancy titles.

But have you ever had to talk a drunk and naked man off a church roof, because he swears God invited him up there?

Didn't think so.

Officer John Reyes. Small-town cop.

Has a drinking problem, a rusty pickup truck, questionable methods, and a permanent bad mood.

Special Agent Luke Walker. FBI agent from Washington.

Profiler. Overachiever. Wears a tie voluntarily.

They're forced to work together on a case involving missing children.

John thinks Luke is an arrogant city boy who wouldn't last a week outside of D.C.

Luke thinks John is a walking internal affairs investigation.

Unfortunately, they're both a little bit right.

A story about two idiots who spend months arguing before realizing they care far too much about each other is living rent free in my head for about 3 years now….

John: "You know what's your problem?"

Luke: "Please enlighten me."

John: "You always have an answer for everything."

Luke: "That's actually one of my strengths."

John: "See? That's exactly what I'm talking about."

What about Luke? I still imagine him as an Special Agent from the 80s and this would absolutely be his fit. Of course all black 😎 This is really my all time favourite AU 🤩 still thinking about writing a fanfiction myself 🤔😅

Welll.. I‘m not gettin rid of this dinluke-cop-au-thing 😅 Cause Luke just looks so damn hot as an agent 😮‍💨

Looks like they were on the right track and met the bad boys they were looking for. Completely outnumbered Luke got hit by a bullet and is badly injured. Now they have to escape their approaching pusuers.. fast. Thank god Din is there to get them out of there. Come on Chief, go safe him!

Watched James Bond - Spectre yesterday and listened to the movie soundtrack on continuous loop while drawing 😎
