Hello! I'm Saturn & I like drawing and pixel art. I do a lot of Clip Studio Paint Brushes & Assets that you can find at the links above if you'd like to expand your toolset (both free and paid stuff, feel free to grab what you'd like!).
Beyond that, I'm a little ecclectic and tend to put out whatever I'm feeling. Feel free to ask me anything, & thanks for reading this post! ✌
To clarify i meant the India Ink COLOR SETS. sowwy
OHHHH THAT ONE oh ok, thank you! This was taken down because someone on CSP finally notice that Dianmine and Noodler's are brands, and you know, no brand names lol. I just reuploaded them with new names to the CSP asset store (I thought I did but turns out I forgot). Here's the palettes in PNG for any program to use. :D
Do you have archive of Marker Texture Brush -1809506 ? Cause I been deleted.
The CSPA reentry repository does. Scroll down/ctrl+F and it'll be there. But I can't mention it without saying you can get more brushes and textures from the maker here:
I feel bad sharing CSP stuff that's become paid-for, but this is akin to recovering it from the asset store for those who used to have it but can't access it any more for whatever reason. If you have the cash and love the marker, I do suggest grabbing the set. Think of the marker as a free sample c:
hi !! I was curious if you happened to have 1802476 ( real pigment liner ) ? the original just says "theres a new version" but the new version has been deleted...
Must be a weird thing for CSP Asset's database to keep the old page up. I do not.
For those who might have it, the brush looks like this:
I'd ask Korean Twitter, but I have no idea how to speak Korean or the proper approach. :v
Sorry I meant to say there any Copic maker brush for CSP?
Fun Fact: It's been at least five years since I picked up a true Copic marker, so I'm not sure if I'm the best for this. I'll do my best! @ anyone reading this, feel free to suggest your favorites too. :o
This will be different since there will be GIFs for this to show you what they draw like. Marker feeling is just as important as marker look. I'll have the non-gif versions at the bottom to compensate for color loss. I'm going to recommend one paid set, then the rest are free, so you can scroll down if you don't have cash to spare.
Originally, one of the most popular CSP Copics was Wren's alcohol Makers - based on Copics themselves, texture & everything.
They're now 5$ on Gumroad. The original set was just 2 brushes & a texture IIRC, now it's several brushes & textures. If you like how they look, grab 'em here.
There's also Michael Guimont's set for 4$ which I haven't tried, but he did great with his pencil set so I'm guessing it's also quality. I also love this set by Frankentoon Studios for 15$, but the markers are a bit more messy than classic copics!
Ok, now the free stuff. There's 2 strategies for markers: make a brush with a texture, or make brushes and then a texture to put on top of it. You'll see what I mean below.
Gloomsugar's makers feel nice to me. They have a nice subtle texture & mix well, and are gentle to the touch. I changed the bottom to be on "normal" instead of "darken" blending mode.
Crm's marker set (sorry for forgetting the R in the name there) takes the second approach: a marker texture on top.
These are soft, normal mixing brushes that come with 2 textures to use on top. I think it's a great compromise if you want blending without compromising texture, but it's a bit hard to get used to.
This method can be done with any paper texture you own. Like so:
Mine (Real Textures Pack), Crm's textures in the Marker pack above, & this texture set to the blending mode overlay here. Again, this is the best way to make sure you get the nice melting feeling of alcohol markers digitally without worrying about losing texture. Or you could like alcohol markers without the texture period, so a general brush is the best compromise.
The Nu Markers used to be on the CSP Asset Store, but got taken down once someone finally noticed the thumbnail was Jet Set Radio fanart ;w;
They're archived here and hopefully he'll reupload them on CSP Assets again too. They're on the dry side, so it may or may not be what you're looking for. Great look, though.
The other two on CSP assets are this set that got popular recently & this marker for 10cp I like. The first one I haven't played with as much but do enjoy from a glance, the second is nice but I'm not sure if it is what you're looking for.
Off of CSP Assets, there's these markers from Halftone Hospital:
Originally for Photoshop, these actually import great to CSP. They do not have blending, but you can add it in of course. Nice, smooth, fun.
Lastly, I don't think this is what you're looking for, but the burnout ink set on Photoshop is a ton of fun:
I just really adore the texture and feel of these. Lots of fun. I am pretty sure I had to adjust the brush stroke gap from like 1.0 to the default "narrow" instead since that slows brushes down. :v
I'm not sure if these are what you're looking for, but I hope they help!
the intoxicate pencil set got deleted recently, ya have it?
massive ginormous unfathomable thanks in advance
Salutations, friend! Not me personally, but this nice person has uploaded them with a few other sets too:
Link to tweet with DL below them.
Funny thing, I'm actually very particular with pencils and that's why I've made so many. Sketching is an important step, always be comfortable & modify your brushes to your liking. 👍
Hello!! I thank you deeply for archiving csp brushes!! My laptop had to be wiped and I lost some brushes, yet thanks to your and everyone's efforts I was able to get many of them back :) I am just missing the watercolor brushes "水彩マーカー●▲■とテクスチャーセット" and some other as the wind brush from "xix" (xex_marumaru)... I found the page in the Internet Archive yet there is no way to download it. I was hoping you or someone might have the files?... Thank you again!!
it's all good, it's a lot, I'm glad you found it :D
A twitter user asked me this, so here is a mini CSP tutorial for all you nice folk out there.
"We'll use Bats & Scoob for this since the texture will show best, original on the left. I use the Layer Property Overlay (2nd image), it helps a ton. The third image contains 4 different versions, with different properties applied.
Layer Property: Overlay was specifically made for overlaying texture. Here's the CSP manual link. Here's how to convert layers to raster & color if you're not sure how to do that.
Sometimes, the best strategy is to just "Combine all visible layers to new layer" and adjust the image to compensate for the texture. I find myself doing that pretty rarely, the layer propery overlay is really fantastic. :D"
There's a user who's just uploading a fuckton of random doodles on the Clip Studio Assets store and it's the funniest fucking thing since they're farming 150clippy a day. That means a whole 4,500 clippy over 30 days. They're a genius. 😂
is there any way to adjust some of your brushes in the revival and sketch brush sets to be compatible with older (pre-4.1) CSP versions? no worries if not, the majority still work fine
Usually, the ones that have pre 4.1 mean they got the velocity pressure slider. Tell me which brushes and I can modify them to work! Their output will be a little different as you can guess, but shouldn't be too bad.

presenting my first (and hopefully only) paid brush set for clip studio paint!! i made each of the lines in the textures by hand during a (kinda rough honestly) arm tremor episode, and now YOU can embrace imperfection and support a disabled artist at the same time! just $1.50 for all four brushes!
I realize this may be something of a long shot, but I’m trying to recover a brush set from Clip Studio Paint that I unfortunately lost after it appears to have been deleted. The only reference I have left is a small screenshot taken from one of my older artworks
The brush is called 「ぼて筆(モノクロ用)」, and it still appears in some Google search results, which makes me hopeful that someone might still have a copy of it saved
If by any chance you happen to have this brush or the original set it came from, it would mean a great deal to me if you could share it! It was one of my favorite tools to work with
Truth is, I tend to only catch recent deletions. CSP's been deleting old brushes that violated the default material rules after having them on for so many years - that's why some popular stuff got deleted. If it's not in the archives I have already and it isn't recent, I don't have it in mine. I did a quick glance and it doesn't look like it. Here's the oldest one I have aside from the main folder, and I didn't see it (but I'm bad at spotting JP text). I checked the rentry.org repository and they don't seem to have it either. :(
I assume it's this one? (leads to no link but the preview is still there)
My suggestion? See if you can find a Japanese artist that uses it & ask via social media. That's much easier said than done, but they are out there from a quick search. It was popular enough that I'd post an ask on reddit too. If neither of those work, I'd focus on finding realistic ink pens or writing pens (since this was originally for kanji) for a similar effect. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, good luck on your search. :(
This is a separate post for the deleted CSP assets small sets. I don't have a preview of all of them, which is a shame since the Van Gogh Brushes looked good with a preview, but here's a few
NuMarkers probably got deleted because someone on CSP finally realized that the preview was the main character of Jet Set Grind - if he reuploads it with a new preview, I can take the archive down. DEERFANG's set got deleted because they used a couple textures that weren't their own. F. ;w;
