Golfing at the Huntington Country Club
A resident of Long Island, New York, Arthur Godsell is the president and co-owner of Godsell Construction Corporation in Hicksville, NY. When he is not managing sales and day-to-day operations at the company, Arthur Godsell enjoys golfing. He is a member of the Huntington Country Club. The golf course at the Huntington Country Club is a challenging, 18-hole course originally designed by Devereux Emmet. Emmet drew on design elements from several popular courses while constructing the Huntington course. Replayability was a key factor when it came to course's design. Individuals can take on four unique tee placements at Huntington, ranging from the par 73, 5,474-yard red version of the course with a 72.5 rating and 128 slope to the par 70, 6,337-yard gold course with a 71.1 rating and 129 slope. Huntington Country Club hosts a number of training programs and competitive tournaments during the year. Guests also have access to related amenities, such as the new Golf House practice facility, a multi-level golf range, and a putting green. Individuals interested in golfing at the club can visit www.huntingcc.org and take a virtual tour of the course.
