Introduction post

Hi, my name's Fish/Storm. I use they/it pronouns. My main is @fishsfailureson. This blog's whole purpose is to give artists weekly "quests" (art prompts) every Monday (4:00 PM/16:00 NZST).

Feel free to complete any quest at any time. There are no time limits. You can also complete them as many times as you want or combine quests.

You can skip an artist quest for any reason. Please don't pressure yourself to do things you don't want to or can't do.

Please tag me if you do complete one of the quests, I would love to see your work! (Also remember to state which quest you've completed so I can tag it properly when reblogging it).

Dates on quests will be written in year-month-day format.

Feel free to incorporate these quests into another art challenge or event.

Quest #23 2024-11-18

Draw some flowers

Drew an OC from memory. Did pretty well which is not surprising considering how much they occupy my brain.

Notable errors (listing these for my sake):

The smaller prongs on the horns are on the back in this drawing rather than the front.

Their horns also point back here rather than straight upwards.

Cheek fluff is the wrong shape.

Ear/hair tuft colour is too warm

Aside from that I got them almost exactly right.

Cringetober day 16- something you were bullied for. (In this case it's the story I've been writing since I was 10/11)

My "friends" at my first school were such dicks about all my interests. In hindsight, after being diagnosed as autistic, a lot of their treatment of me was just making fun of me being neurodivergent. But hey, those friendships are in the past now, and I'm still working on The Journey. I'm still me.

A little velociraptor skull doodle- still not particularly experienced with drawing bones but hey I did my best, that's what really matters. (also wikipedia has so many good photos of bones which is nice yay)
