one of the most affirming statements about the practice of magic ive ever read was from some random ritual on chaosmatrix which at one point said: “nobody’s watching. there’s no reason to pretend you’re no good at this kind of thing anymore.” i think about it & repeat it to myself a lot, both in regards to magic and to other things.
