this is so unlikely but my dream for the switch tales game is a tales of fandom 3 centered on the exorcists - i love them all to death but to be honest, they didnt get anywhere near as much backstory as i had been pulling for! for example:

(granted some of this may be in jp side material but i cant read japanese lol)

- where do the rangetsus come from? we know they serve lord capalus but much else is like. vague mentions of "somewhere far away" that they come from - we've been all over desolation and itd be nice to get a focus on them and see how they were integrated into the society and seeing more of what they did! also some shigure + rokurou interaction would be super entertaining

- shigure and morgrim story!! theyre such an ultimate duo who love and trust each other so much, it'd be really nice to see more of them interacting!! morgrim is such a sweet old lady and shigures such a headstrong sword man itd be so entertaining to see them during any part of how long they've known each other and to get some canon backstory!!

- the artorius and claudin story was soooo hard to find and going out of my way to get it was a life struggle... i wish we could see more of claudin as a person and see his relationship with artorius and melchior and seein some younger artorius content

- oscar+teresa!! the dragonia family seems very interesting but not much touched upon: what were oscar's parents like? what was his older brother like? oscar is a very interesting character in that hes so headstrong and self-righteous because hes been raised in an environment where he hasnt been much exposed to a lot of moral viewpoints and itd be cool to see the side of him where thats being shaped! and teresa as a kid would be so cool to see also, before she became an exorcist!!

- spoilers in this last one!!!! but while melchior may be a creepy old man hes also ANCIENT and itd be fascinating to see what he means when he talks about civilizations rising and falling and perhaps seeing how innominat has influenced society over many years

tales of fandom in previous games have shed a lot of light on characters and their psyches and times long past, like finally being able to see the kharlan heroes interact, that i really hope it can shed light on the world of desolation and the gray-moral characters in it

Tales of Berseria is a very dramatic and serious game about the everlasting conflict beetween mind and emotions but if you just blame Artorius for eveything it gets much simpler
