Commission! :-D
This is a cover-style illustration of @why-bless-your-heart âs story, A Breath of Fresh Air. It was a lot of fun to work on!
If youâd be interested in commissioning me for something in this style, see this post for details. :-)

All the fan conventions are being cancelled one by oney one, but this weekend I'm tabling at a virtual con being hosted on Facebook! There'll be panels and a cosplay contest and, of course, an artists' alley. Attendance is free, obviously. You can find my "table" here! ^_^
*Pops head up after years of absence*
Sayyy...
Would anybody be interested in commissioning a piece of art like this? Priced at $200.Â
(If youâre wondering, this is the cover of my Camp NaNo project next month, about a bunch of bright-eyed and bushy-tailed mad scientists having fun in an evil organization)
Have you ever dreamed of having your OCs and your story portrayed in a complicated Lemony-Snicket-Meets-Edge-Chronicles sort of tableau? Dream no more!Â
Iâm only taking one of these for now. Depending on interest, I may take more in the future.
If youâre interested, send me a note and tell me all about your story! This is important, because I reserve the right to vet the stories/characters that people submit, and choose one that will fit my brand. I should tell you now, Iâll avoid stories with magical/occult elements (this means that I wonât consider things like fairies, witches, vampires, elemental magic, etc. However, things with a sci-fi bent- like monsters, superheros, aliens, robots, etc.- are all fine!)
Please note, I would still retain the rights to the artwork, so you couldnât use it for publication (for example, as a book cover). If you want to use it for that purpose, we can discuss it and figure out a price that would include licensing fees. :-)
Work in progress of a couple of characters from my NaNo novel, Runaround. Introducing - Girl and Scwibbles!

Lemony Snicketâs A Series of Unfortunate Events - Official Trailer!
I actually gasped at the last line in this trailer. XD
I just love your little baubles! They're so cute, and I saw that one of your friends posting about how you made them a Londo Mollari. That's so cool! There's not a lot of people who've heard about Babylon 5 and I think it's awesome what the few people who have can do
Aw, thank you!
And yes, I LOVE Babylon 5. Definitely one of my all-time favorites! I really wish most people didnât only know it from a throwaway gag in an episode of Big Bang Theory that makes it sound like a bad show.

Want to know how I can already tell the Netflix Series of Unfortunate Events is going to be lightyears better than the 2004 movie?? 2004 movie:
Netflix series:
THEY FINALLY GOT OLAFâS TATTOO CORRECT. This is not just a nit-picking detail⊠this is crucial to the entire series. For the 2004 movie to throw this detail out showed me that they did not care to read past the fourth or fifth book, which they had no excuse not to do; by the time the film was made, the eleventh book had just been released. Now, I enjoyed the 2004 movie, it had a lot of wonderful things going for it, wonderful casting, perfect cinematography and tone and soundtrack, but it was not the books. I am so glad that it looks like we will finally get the chance to see a proper adaptation of the books on screen. :D
AND IT DOESNâT LOOK LIKE A 4 YEAR OLD DREW IT WITH A SHARPIE
To be fair, Handler and Helquist changed the shape of the tattoo part way through the series. Bit of ret-conning going on there, and it made sense for the movie folks to go with the simple eye design since they weren't going past the first three books in this adaptation, and VFD wasn't going to play into it.
That being said, yeah, it kind of looked like something Olaf drew on himself with a BIC that morning. :-P
(also I like the movie too. Itâs got serious flaws, but even as a superfan I wasnât too fazed by them when I saw it in theaters. I donât know why! But I think this movie gets a worse rap than it deserves, really.)
The Milwaukee Road, Hiawatha, Skytop Observation Car
Back to mining Reddit for interesting tidbits. This one confirmed by edoublea. The tower isnât just a cool looking train design, itâs an ACTUAL, real-life train design. âEven found some of the same reference imagery we used!â
I can just see myself lying on the floor of that fancy cabin so the orientation would match up with the tower in Hunrath, and if anyone questioned what I was doing Iâd just tell them I paid for this view. ;-P

Plus he was planning to appear in like twenty recordings, so.
