Crafting with Epoxy Resin
Resin, knitting, crochet, and rug-making are all popular crafts right now, as I'm sure most of you are aware. I began working with resin because I wanted to have a remembrance of my wedding flowers. So I started looking for the Instagram account that had done it. However, I couldn’t find it, so I began my investigation into resin crafts. I had no idea this craft is already trending. Nevertheless, let me explain what resin is and how to get started with it.
Resin art is made by combining a liquid chemical called epoxy resin. You can mix it with various colour pigments and additives to create a unique blend of patterns and textures. As a chemical resin mixture progressively hardens to a solid plastic (when mixed with a hardener).
Before starting this craft you need safety precautions such as gloves, a respiratory mask, safety goggles(optional), wearing protective clothing and a properly ventilated area.
And, the things you need are resin and resin hardener, epoxy mould, cups, popsicle stick, coloured mica powder, coloured alcohol ink, glitters(optional), foils(optional), dried flowers(otional) and a scaler.

This my resin that i created last month. It was an accidental mix and it turned out to be this marble like effects.
Mix the resin first but slowly to avoid little bubbles appearing. This will ruin your resin.
You can use a fire lighter or hot air gun to remove the bubbles
Make sure to follow the ratio measurement because different resins have different ratios.
Always protect your resin from dust. So keep your resin in a plastic box/ big container to avoid it to happen. Plus the chemical fume will stay in the box.
Just sharing my experience. I hope this will help for any resin beginner out there. Just sharing my experience 😊. That is all from me, till my next post!
