A bg3 specific OC ask game

Was your dream guardian meant to represent someone your Tav/DUrge knew, or would be especially likely to trust? Why does your dream guardian look the way they do?

if i could have made hrravak's guardian a dragonborn, he would have had more personal meaning for her, but alas

she was raised by a tiefling, so her guardian is also a tiefling, but as far as style, i was in a depeche mode kick and just made him look as much like martin gore in the 80s as i could lmao

I regret nothing.

We all know Karlach would adopt every stuffed animal, even if it's missing its head. Also, I picked these up using every companion, so in my game everyone has canonically given Mama Karlach a bear. 😊

I don't think she's got a collection quite that big in my save but she carries them all around with her :)

there aren't any other named holidays in the months the game spans unless for some reason you long rest for like 3 extra months to reach Feast of the Moon in Uktar/Nightal (if you don't count the equinox) so i think this might be the only one, but i do like this touch

looking forward to my next run with hrravak, gonna be messing with the custom difficulty thing & seeing if i can lean more RP wise with her since i didn't really do that this time around (her personality is still nebulous for me this far into her save, it was a mess early on)

but i think once i finish this run i'm gonna do a different character entirely for a change of pace

The Emperor's Fiddlehead Soup

Not gonna lie, this looks *really* good and I want to make it, but the big issue is fiddleheads

As far as I can tell, they're not farmed, only wild-foraged, and they're only in season for a very short time (April / May). You can get them shipped while they're in season though!

What I'm curious about: What do y'all think an acceptable alternative might be while waiting for fiddlehead season to roll around again?

Ingredients

chopped fiddleheads knob of butter 1 onion, chopped 1 clove of garlic, minced 1 tablespoon of flour half a pan of chicken stock assorted vegetables (potato, leek, carrot), chopped heavy whipping cream salt and pepper

Melt the butter in a large pot over a hot fire. Do not burn. Stir in the onion and garlic until softened. Add flour. Continue stirring. Add chicken stock and bring to a boil. Add fiddleheads and vegetables. Raise away from the fire, simmer until vegetables are tender. Stir in the cream, season, and serve.
