When the shelter was first constructed, very little digging was required. The cave system had always existed, simply reinforced with steel and concrete. The deeper tunnels were sealed off. If you place your hands against the walls of these dead-end hallways, you might notice that the stone is twice or in some cases even three times as thick as the concrete used in other parts of the shelter. Whatever lies in those old, dank tunnels, it was clear the old folks had no interest in ever seeing it again.

Since the flowers were "added" to the AU, does that mean Pink/Mew Mew is going to appear too?

Okay, so I've gotten enough asks about this topic that I figure I should probably spill the beans lol. (I'd originally planned for her to be revealed in the Tenna meets Dess comic, but that's been caught in development hell for ages and has been further delayed by projects more related to chapter five.)

Originally, I was SUPER sure that Toby and co. wouldn't use Mew Mew for Deltarune for anything but injokes and references (being a character mostly exclusive to one release of the game), so I decided it would be a fun idea to take her and use her as a fairly major character in my AU:

The Madam of the Dummy Drop (the Thorned Heir's Chief Lieutenant of that region and the one who defeated Tasque Manager) was planned to be Mad Mew Mew. Ironically, I also was planning to have her be a Lightner/Darkner combo, though the 'Mew Mew' side would've had far less control and would mostly manifest as a sudden, uncontrolled transformation. (Until a later revelation revealed that the Mew Mew side had far more control all along, but was simply allowing her Lightner side full control because it made her happy). The body itself also would've been a decayed doll that Alphys had found in the town dump and was trying to restore before the storm hit and the doll was abandoned.

I'm somewhat planning to still keep this element of the story intact (it would be annoying to have to find a whole new character to run the Dummy Drop when the whole place was designed with her in mind), though it will definitely need some restructuring. Oh well, that's the risk of adapting continuous canon!

I'm unsure if this has been answered but why does Fighting Flower Force Aqua wear a blindfold? Is it fashion? Did Seth and the other flowers force her to wear it to spare her innocence from the horrors?

Seth has been trying to teach her to be more 'ninja' so she's taken to wearing the headband to help her get into character. She keeps putting it over her eyes for 'stealth', because in her own words: 'it makes rooms darker!'

Thankfully the low visibility hasn't been a problem for her because her eyes (or on occasion, eye) are always covered up by her hair anyway.

Whose idea was it for the flowers to have numbered outfits?

I’m kinda imagining it as snowblinded Asgore just not caring enough to remember names and just settling for numbers instead.

It was Sprout's idea, she thought it would make the team more 'cohesive' (and would also make it more immediately clear that she was in charge). She originally planned to give the others clear rankings in terms of effectiveness but gave up and just told them to pick whichever number was their favourite.

(Yellow picked his because seven on its side looks like a gun, Green picked theirs because 6 looks like a running egg, etc)

Can captain sprout do the same voice clip thing flowery does?

Yes though she doesn't usually use any clips outside of calling out special moves because it makes her voice sound 'cute' when she wants to be intimidating. The curse of being a 'slice of life' anime character at heart when you want to be a shonen protagonist.

One of the most annoying things about having a big project is that you can spend HOURS on it, literal hours, nose to the grindstone sketching up panel layouts, leaving space for text, script writing...only to be completely conned out of the dopamine hit cause when you're too tired to continue or you need a break it's STILL not close to being finished.

Are all of the flowers blindly loyal to the king asgore? Or are a few of them less eager to serve what they don't believe is right? (I can imagine Seth serving as a mole and Green not putting their all into it.)

Do you have any plans to add any more popular fan-characters (IE: Togore) to Snowblind? If so, will they be more like side characters, or will they have important roles? (Love the AU lol just read like every comic I could find for it)

I try to keep most fully fan characters to a minimum in Snowbind, I was originally planning to keep Togore out entirely but a fan of mine had a pretty great idea to still include him so I went with that (shoutout @duioki2007). I like the idea of making something that both the fandom can enjoy but also somebody fresh off of playing the game and knowing nothing else can also get into so packing it with too many in-jokes and other fan characters can occasionally feel a bit like I'm excluding folks from the fun, doubly so if they have major stakes in the plot. If I do decide to include another fully fanmade character they'll likely either be a background easter egg or a more minor side character. All that said I do have one (maybe two) last potential inclusion up in the air atm, still deciding whether or not they'll fit or not.

Did the gang ever encounter the flowers or did Noelle and Kris take that swim directly to Chapter 7 Side B?

Currently the plan is Snowblind is canon to the full Weird Route as opposed to the aborted one (this may change but that's what I'm working with rn), Kris and Noelle may have encountered the flowers once they got back from their trip to the Doctor's secret lab (after accomplishing a few essential things of course) in order to secure Mew Mew's Shadow Crystal and thus forge the Purecrystal and by extension the Twisted Sword, but Susie and the others would not have been present for that and it would've only been a solely Noelle and Kris 'adventure'.

Is onion san still alive in there or are they functionally braindead & kind of a dustner in snowblind?

A bit of the true self always exists even in the false self. The exact method of returning one to their original form from that state is an unknown and difficult process, but there is always a way back.

As for Onionsan's fate in Snowblind, well the Still Sea is treacherous for MANY reasons...

How could Onionsan return after being brutally murdered and dismembered and then sold as onion-flavored octopus dough spheres? (iirc this actually happens in the festival, NormalNPC is serving them, and Onionsan is just entirely gone in Chapter 4+5)
