it’s been a min since i’ve posted, well, anything. truth be told, it’s been really hard to be creative since the influx of AI art. like, this blog was created so i can let out that creative side of my nerd brain that demands i create something, but now… =|

when i go online, whatever site that may be, i am constantly exposed to how ‘easy’ it is to grift and use the tools of AI to make gain instant clout and money for something that took nothing but a few clicks and a prompt. it has infected everything, even when i try to find references for drawing, i see it. that souless generation of stolen art and photos. it’s easy to spot and yet, that is what is being placed on the spotlight. i don’t want to say i’m jealous of it, but it’s kinda is a not good feeling, ya know?

i try to stay positive and tell myself that art is something that will always be apart of me, that this just an expression and it doesn’t matter as long as i keep doing it for myself. it works, but that said i still have not had the urge to post it for others to see. i don’t think my art of girls kissing and acting a fool is something that techbros are searching to add to their constant mutating algorithm that is scraping the internet and draining the creatives for everything that they have, but something about it all makes me feel like it’s better if i just keep it to myself >_>

perhaps one day i’ll have the courage to post more or maybe i’ll open up a way to show my art in a more private way but who knows!

every time i start to feel cringe for being too deep in the hyperfixation i remember the intense depression i have waded through and have to remind myself that enjoyment is fleeting (so grab it with both hands), and life is for loving (so hold that love close), and if anyone thinks i’m cringe they must not be having a very good time (and i hope they can find a good time soon).
